We connect you directly with Australia and New Zealand's largest verified network of reputable dog breeders, and support you through the process of welcoming home your companion.

Here’s how it works here:

1. Search our trusted community of verified breeders

Start by browsing Dogz Online’s trusted community of verified, and reputable dog breeders. We bring all reputable breeders in Australia and New Zealand in one platform and community to make you search easier.

Use filters such as breed, location, size, coat type, and key characteristics to help you find a breed, and breeder, that suits your lifestyle.

When you find a puppy or breeder you’re interested in, click through to their profile or listing to learn more. You’ll find important details including breeder information, registrations, and current or upcoming availability.

Every breeder listed on Dogz Online is verified as a member of Dogs Australia or Dogs New Zealand, the official kennel clubs and only internationally recognised registries in Australia and New Zealand. All members adhere to a strict Code of Ethics set by their national kennel clubs, alongside Dogz Online’s own policies.

  • Puppy tip: choosing a breeder through Dogz Online means connecting with experienced, reputable breeders who uphold ethical breeding standards, contribute to the preservation of purebred dogs, and bring generations of knowledge and care to every litter."

Finding a trusted breeder is made easier on the site.

2. Connect and chat with your breeder

When you’re ready, you can contact the breeder directly through Dogz Online by "submitting an application" or "sending them a message" through the site. Some breeders may also have preferred contact methods listed on their profile.

This direct connection allows you to start a conversation, ask questions, and learn more about the breeder and their program. Take your time, feel supported, and work together to ensure the right match for your family and lifestyle.

From there, your breeder will guide you through the next steps.

Puppy tip: Many reputable breeders work with interstate or long-distance families and can assist with flight, ground transport, or meet-halfway arrangements.

3. Deposits and Full Payments

Deposits: After you and your breeder select the right puppy, they may request a deposit to reserve your spot. You can complete your deposit on Dogz Online's secure payment platform — Dogz Pay ,and work together to plan pick-up. At this stage, your breeder will likely start sending you regular updates about your puppy, like vet checks and socialisation milestones.

  • Puppy Tip: While not all breeders require a deposit, it’s a common way to reserve your puppy and show commitment, and allows your breeder to plan ahead. Some deposits may be non-refundable, so it's important to  review your breeder’s deposit policy carefully and ask questions to ensure it feels right for you and your breeder

Full Payments: Your breeder will let you know when it's time to complete the final payment. By paying through Dogz Pay, you can have peace of mind that your payment is being protected, and transacted in a safe and secure way, and we're here to support you.
