Cottingley Airedales commenced in 2001 with the importation of Ch Arwen vom Sachsenborn where we observed the temperament and conformation of German Airedales. Arwen's lineage is from a working class line but her Sire, Gaylord vom Norden won Best in Show in Hamburg against some 3000 dogs. Arwen commenced her show carreer winning BOB at the Adelaide Royal in 2004, 2006 and Challenge Bitch 2005 and 2011. We have since bred two litters with Arwen's offspring, Ch Cottingley Mr Lincoln (Challenge Dog Adelaide Royal 2008 and RuBOB 2011), Ch Cottingley Mr Dudley ( Puppy of Breed Adelaide Royal 2010 and BOB 2011) and Scarlet Fire (Ally) all obtaining their show championship titles. We fell for our Annie-Dale (teddy) over 12 years ago when she was in need of a loving home and since that day our passion for Dales has grown to the point of no return. I've had the pleasure to have, love and raise Airedales for the last 20 years and, have bred them for 6 years. All my dogs have worked as pet therapy dogs in Aged care.
