Here at Willowpark we have been breeding for over 40 years. Quiet achievers, we have been selecting and breeding dogs with remarkable temperaments. Outstanding types that have the substance, soundness and brains to achieve almost any challenge given to them. Our dogs have been sold to many countries around the world and have been shown, with great success. They have been featured in books and calenders, and have also been road tested on the TV show Burkes Backyard. We have bred the Sydney Royal Puppy of Breed winner for 3 years straight. Our dogs have the intelligence to safely work sheep, cattle and have also won at duck trials. Willowpark has produced the highest number of herding titled cattle dogs in Australia. We breed true all rounders - Royal Show winners, Royal Show obedience winners, Royal show Rally O winners, multi High in Trial winning herding dogs, dogs titled in sheep, cattle and duck herding, agility dogs, working stock dogs, dogs which appear in TV commercials and magazine covers, pets as therapy dogs, the QLD Reds Rugby Union mascot, government certified school education dogs, the list goes on. We dont just say we breed good temperaments, we back it up with the above examples. Our dogs descend from the Jellendore line - which produced Australia's first Grand Champion show dog but more importantly a line which were versatile workers - having a natural cast, balance and eye.

We are a small family run kennel located at Dyers Crossing situated 40 klms south of Taree in the Mid North Coast region. Our love for the breed is still as strong as it was in 1970 when we bought our first cattle dog. Today our breeding stock are DNA tested for hereditary diseases and all pups sold come with supporting documentation . Breeding both reds and blues from Champion blood lines, our pups are strong and healthy and full of energy. We only breed one or two litters a year, and we occasionally have adult dogs looking for their forever homes. All genuine inquiries are welcome.
