At Vertillus, our love of the Australian Shepherd began after falling for the breed while at training with our Labrador back in 2018. We respect the breed standard and strive to produce sound, intelligent and versatile Aussies. Outstanding temperaments and Aussies that are ready to excel at whatever they do - companionship, showing, sports, adventure - underpins what we do. Our dogs here are family members first, and we love loving and working alongside them. We actively show our Aussies, and have dabbled in dog sports and look forward to further involvement. Our dogs love working just as much as they love cuddling up with you on the couch. Our health and DNA tested (including eyes, hips and elbows, genetic profiling) dogs have a fantastic quality of life, and it is an expectation that puppies - from carefully selected parents - that leave from our home would have the same. The start to life puppies have here include socialisation and appropriate exposure to new things, premium nutrition, quality vet care and balanced foundations to start their long life ahead of them. We are aiming to have a full working-line litter in the first half of 2026. Pedigrees of both parents are rich in highly skilled working dogs from Europe and America. These puppies will be aimed at sport homes with goal to work the dogs in a variety of sports and activities ranging from Agility to Herding to Scentwork to Obedience and anything in between. Even though these guys will be very cute they will not do well in homes where they are just kept in the backyard without much activity and they will be hard to control if you go into this without an understanding of their needs. At only 3 years old Maze already has almost 10 titles to her name mostly in Agility but also in Scentwork and Tricks and nothing makes her happier than getting to work along side her handler to achieve their goals. Homes with previous breed experience and active homes will be considered if research has been done

I am Suzanne, a passionate experienced Aussie lover. I had my first Aussie back in 1997, born in the very first Aussie litter bred in The Netherlands, whos mum was from the US, the origin of Aussies. With my Aussie I pursued flyball, shows, and herding. Currently we own and raise 3 Aussies on a farm in WA close to Perth as part of our family. We are a boutique breeder and have bred 3 litters so far, of which 2 under the guidance and partnership of Rousillon, and most recently in 2025 our first FEATHERLIGHT litter. Our breeding program is done with the utmost care for the well being of our own and bred Aussie Shepherds with focus on the following: health, temperament and continuation or improvement of the breed. We therefore don't ever promise or match based on coat colours only, and don't keep waitlists because each pup deserves the best suitable family at the right time. Before leaving to their new homes the pups will be health checked, microchipped, vaccinated and Pedigree registered. All information regarding their health including their parent's health, heritage and more will be prepared in an information folder as part of a puppy pack. Puppies are raised inside our house and outside on our farm with special attention to healthy nature based foods, neurological stimulation, and socialization with both people (incl young kids) and farm animals.
