I have owned Aussie Terriers most of my life but I did not become seriously interested in showing or breeding them until the late 1990s. Whilst I have owned blue and tan Aussies, I am now firmly a 'red fan'. I have shown a number of red dogs and bitches to their Australian Championship titles in the last fifteen years or so. My present "line" of Aussies has its origin in 2013 when I was fortunate to obtain a quality bitch from the Cliftop kennels of Sharon Gilkison in northern NSW. Ch. Cliftop Zipping Loose "Lucy". In her lifetime, Lucy produced many quality pups some of whom have gone on to successful show careers and others to loving pet homes. We currently have one of Lucy's pups, Tilly, "Ch. Mittlesista Drama Queen" who is still being shown (although not frequently), with success. Tilly's father was US Gr Ch. Dunham Lake Unanimous Decision, owned and shown in the USA by Theresa Goiffon. We also have "Cliftop Ginnys' Dream at Paxterr". From Ginny's first litter, sired by Stuart (Ch. Mittlesista Smarty Pants) born in January 2022, we have now made up four Aust. Champions. Ginny’s daughter, Oona, Ch. P. Sweet Dreams has recently produced a quality litter of four pups to continue the line. Her son, Ch. P. We have been breeding Aussies for over ten years now and we have both reds and blue and tans. We live on a farm near Warwick, Queensland. Our dogs are working dogs that chase sheep and cows, do fencing and other farm jobs and have heaps of fun. We started showing our dogs and have had a bit of success with Bluey, our blue and tan boy, he has won Best of Breed three times in a row, Best of Breed and runner-up Best of Breed at the local kennel club show as well as Best immediate in the group., Our Red boy Kazu has won best in the group for the junior pup and best of breed and best state-bred in group. Spinner has only been to three shows so far and he has won best in group for baby puppy and best in groups for minor puppy. Mim has been showing well she is our first Cumalong girl with our breed name on both sides and she has won group titles three times at different shows.Waggs has won best Minor in show at the Australian Terrier Club QLD and won the Taralee Stud Memorial trophy for best minor.Rubys Shadow won best baby in Show 2022 at the Australian Terrier show. Some of our pups that have been sold are showing and doing well. breed our dogs with good temperament, quality, and type and like them to go to loving homes like ours.
