Dunsfold entered the Bearded Collie world with Ch Toriavic Loyal N Lively (Sophie) in 2014, but we have been breeding Cavalier King Charles Spaniels for over 30 years. I grew up with a Beardie as a teenager, with NZ Ch Banacek Black Banner as a retired show dog and always wanted to get back to the Beardies! Bandilea are the home of Supreme in show winning Birman cats and are now also dedicated to preserving the Bearded Collie breed. Having owned both Beardies and Birmans for 24 years I am now striving to protect both of my cherished breeds. Bandilea have Imported a Swedish dog, Honeytaste Mr Tag Heuer (Imp ZAF) 'Hugo'. Hugo is a Multiple Best In Speciality Show winner. The Second male I have imported is from Finland, Memorylane Me Mileyself and I at Bandilea (Imp FIN) Herbie'. Bandilea have also imported frozen semen from successful dogs in the USA and UK which shows our dedication to this breed. Bandilea have bred several Australian Champions, including a BEST In Speciality Show Winner. This is a testament to our quality and temperaments we strive for. My dogs are Hip/Elbow Scored and CEA DNA tested. My dogs live in the home as they are my pets first and foremost. They love to sleep on beds and be couch warmers! I select for temperament, health and soundness before show wins, although they are always nice! My dogs are highly trainable and compete in Showing, Obedience, Herding, Noseworks and Agility which shows the versatility of the breed. They are fun loving, active, enthusiastic, sweet and sociable with people along with other animals. The Bandilea team continue to win when it counts, as we don't show week in and week out.
