Each and every puppy in the litter is raised in my home as part of the family, and given the individual love, care and attention required to ensure it will have the qualities to reach its full potential, be it in the show ring or as a pet. I have owned Bichon Frises for 30 years, and have been breeding them for over 10 years. My breeding aim is to produce healthy, sound Bichons, true to the breed standard, with gentle dispositions, suitable for show or pet homes. Bichons are unique in that they are one of the only dog breeds that was developed without a specific "job" to do. Whereas most dogs were bred for hunting, herding, retrieving etc, the Bichon's only purpose is to be a lively, charming and affectionate human companion. As such, they are ideally suited to life as a family pet. Bichons are also highly intelligent and empathetic, making them excellent therapy or assistance dogs. Once you own your first Bichon, you will be converted, as I was about 30 years ago. My Bichons have gone all around Australia and as far afield as Scotland.
