My name is Catherine Bull & my family & I live at Upper Lockyer on 10 beautiful acres, situated at the bottom of a section of the Great Dividing Range,15 minutes from Toowoomba in SE Qld. I am a member of the Herding Sub-Committee for Dogs Qld & am also an Approved DNA Collection Agent for Orivet Genetic Pet Care. All our dogs have been DNA Full Breed Profiled & are CLEAR or CLEAR BY PARENTAGE of the three genetic diseases NCL, CEA & TNS. All our dogs have been Hip/Elbow Scored with excellent results. All puppies that are bred by me are also DNA Profiled & have a DNA "Parentage Evaluation Report" to verify their Sire on their Pedigree. Our dogs enjoy herding (all with herding titles), obedience training & we also show in the conformation ring, & are proud of our latest four Australian Champions, gaining their titles in 2014, 2015, 2017 & 2018. There is nothing better than watching my dogs doing what they were originally bred to do, Herding. At IONABORDA, we aim to breed & raise the best natured dogs & to give all our puppies the very best start in life, we raise our pups using the "Puppy Culture Method". Welcome to Beaustrong Border Collies We're new border collie exhibitors and breeders, and grateful to be involved with this beautiful, strong breed. We look forward to breeding confident, healthy, well-put-together dogs that will excel as your loyal friend, obedience champion or sporting buddy. Our goal is to breed for conformation, sporting ability and companionship. Our foundation bitch, Taylor (Kolorko Strong Blak Valentine), carries the ‘Borderstrong’ lines, a kennel that bred exceptional dogs, was home to some of Australia’s earliest border collie lines, and was the inspiration for our kennel prefix: ‘Beaustrong‘. Little did we know that ‘Borderstrong’ owner Des Strong goes by ‘Beau’ to his friends and loved ones. It seems it was meant to be. Our stud dog Marshall (Bidgeesrun Guccis Gift Marshall) comes from quality sporting dog lines and a great pedigree. He is a third-generation flyball dog. He picked up a full run in 3 weeks; it's like it runs in his veins! We look forward to seeing the puppies he produces; they will be perfect for anyone looking for their next sporting champ! Gracie, our beautiful red head, joined us in 2025 and is showing great promise in the show ring. We're enjoying the process of learning to show together and I look forward to many years of showing dogs and hope that one day we can breed our own Australian champion.
