Myworks Border Collies evolved from a 40 year involvement with the breed. My dogs have been much loved not only during my ownership from my teenage years but later by my growing family. They have been affectionate companions to our children over many years. My dogs are rarely entered in shows but spend most of their time in activities such as obedience training. We have also done some agility and dancing. This breed like to be busy and involved in your life. I have always found it mutually rewarding participating in activities that see us working together with a high level of communication that this intelligent breed respond to so strongly. Over the last 25 years I have bred the occasional litter of puppies which are reared in a loving home environment. I take a "no compromise" approach to selecting the temperament of the dogs I use for breeding and always seek to breed for physical soundness & quality. All dogs used for breeding are hip & elbow scored. They are also DNA tested for NCL, TNS & CEA to ensure the pups will never have these conditions. I am highly selective of the homes to which my pups go, endeavouring to ensure that the right pup goes to the right home to be loved for the duration of it's life. My foundation pair lived to the grand age of 18 and 19 years and majority of my dogs are decendents from these 2 beautiful old pair. I love my collies and treat them as my best friends. I have puppies through-out the year, my dogs all have beautiful natures lovely confirmation and very polite manners.and not of the hypo type. Very calm and placid. They all get on with each other beautifully. All dogs are dna tested prior to breeding and I don't breed from any of my girls until the age of 2. They are raised in my household and raised with puppy culture and positive training protocols, and it is important to me that the puppies are placed in loving homes which will match their personalities. I love to hear from new owners regularly about how the puppy is doing, I take responsibility for the well being of all the dogs that I have brought into this world and provide life time support to you and your puppy. I want to get to know you and the perfect puppy for your household. I place pups at 8 weeks or older, and try to match the puppy's personality to it's family. Therefore, I do not sell pups once they are born, but rather wait until 6-8 weeks when their personality can shine through. All puppies are microchipped, wormed, and vaccinated and come with ANKC pedigree papers and a puppy pack full of puppy essentials and information. If I do not have a puppy that suites your needs, I am happy to refer you to other reputable breeders that may have the perfect puppy for you!
