Situated in the heart of the river country, Echuca has been my home for over 30 years, just as the Border collie has in my home. Growing up with my grandfathers and parents chocolate and white border collies on the farms has influenced my love for not only the chocolate colour but this amazing breed of dog who can read your mind and be capable of so many human qualities. Their love, affection, agility, intelligence, and intuition is truly unique. I strive to keep the Border Collie as traditional to its heritage as possible. Darkwan Kennels began their involvement in showing, obedience training and breeding pedigree dogs back in 1983 and have 20 years experience with Border Collies, mostly obedience training, herding and farm companions. Rural/semi rural homes preferred and pups would like jobs doing obedience/agility, herding, farm companion/helper. Show quality prospects sometimes available. Puppies will have all regular worming, vaccinations, microchip done. Also physical vet check and Orivet and/or Mydogdna Lab dna panel test. ANKC Registration Certificate. Parents + older siblings are also available to view. A Puppy Pack of goodies is supplied for each pup. All our beautiful Border Collie pups enjoy life on the farm and are exposed to many and varied day to day sights and sounds and experiences. Puppies are very confident and outgoing, having been bought up with many of the programs from Puppy Culture since 3 days of age which we are finding of great benefit and basis for ongoing training. When pups are available a private viewing/ information session is offered to interested families. There is no charge and there is no obligation to purchase. We are located Yarrawonga area.
