Joymont Cairn Terriers from the leafy suburbs of Ashburton in Melbourne has consistantly been the most successful kennel in Australia. In the last 40 years Joymont has produced 28 Grand Champions 12 Supreme Champions and over 130 Champions here in Australia and overseas. We have 20 multiple Best in Show winners and many Royal Group winners as well as a Best in Show winner at the Canberra Royal. This is a first for a Cairn in Australia. Cathy's many years of judging in Australia and overseas as well as continual visits to top kennels and International top shows has enabled her to keep Breed Type, and quality uppermost in her breeding program. This has been aided by the imput of dogs and bitches from some of the top kennels overseas. All our puppies are well socialized in a family situation. They are all Liver Shunt Tested (PSS), health checked, wormed, vaccinated, micro chipped, and paper trained. We offer excellent follow up care and professional grooming on a continuous basis. We are breeders and exhibitors of quality Cairn Terriers made up of top Australian and international bloodlines. We strive to breed healthy Cairns with excellent temperaments and conformation. At present we are having a break from breeding but are always pleased to answer inquiries about the breed or provide grooming for your cairn. Although we have had much success showcasing our Cairns Terriers in the show ring, our Cairns are much loved family pets first, and we enjoy our time with this lovely breed both in and out of the show ring. All our pups are lovingly reared and socialised in a friendly home atmosphere. Puppies are sometimes available to suitable forever homes with ongoing assistance provided including grooming of your pet cairn.

The Cairn terrier is such a versatile dog in that they love to romp around but they also like their quiet time, they are inquisitive and endearingly mischievous you just can’t help but fall in love with a Cairn as I did. My aim is to breed true to type Cairns that will make a wonderful companion as well as having the potential to succeed in the show ring. Puppies are available from time to time to caring loving homes – all pups offered for sale are wormed, vaccinated, micro chipped and vet checked including liver shunt tested and you will receive a care booklet which includes the pups personal details including photos, parents details and general care and grooming details. The pups will go to their new home with food for a few days of their current diet to make the change less stressful.

I have been involved with and shown Cairn Terriers actively both locally and interstate over the last 8 years. I am also a member of the Cairn Terrier Clubs in Victoria and New South Wales and a member of Dogs Victoria. Our pups are Vaccinated, Wormed, Vet Checked (with Vet Certificate provided), Micro-chipped, Registered, Patella Tested and Liver Shunt (PSS) tested and come with Diet and Care Sheets. All dew clews removed at 2 day old. All Puppies are raised in a home environment and are well socialised as well as being crate and toilet trained.
