We are dedicated to the lovely white spaniel from Sherwood Forest. The Clumber is the only breed we breed. We take every effort to breed fit, strong, happy, and very healthy Clumbers. We import new bloodlines regularly, and never allow our dogs to contribute to or practice genepool bottlenecks by excessive breeding to any one individual. We undertake screening for each newly identified genetic issue and work to eliminate these from future generations. You'll find details of our dogs and lots of useful breed information on our own website. Find out when we have litters or sometimes an older Clumber available by getting the free Erinveine Email Magazine (link on our Erinveine website). Our dogs enjoy twice-daily free exercising, house life, and spacious secure outside living areas with extensive environmental enrichment and ongoing socialization programmes, with a raw food based diet. Our family has been actively involved and lived with Clumbers since 1958. We are proud to be founder members of the Clumber Spaniel League Victoria Australia's first and only breed club Rarer Gundog Spaniel Club of Victoria. Jan has also been elected an Honorary Member of the Clumber Spaniel Club of America and life member of the Rarer Gundog Spaniel Club of Victoria. After over 40 years involvement with breeding and exhibition of St Bernards, we have now joined the wonderful world of Clumbers. We currently share our home with six Clumbers ranging in age from 10 years to 16 months. We have exhibited them at all breeds and specialty shows in Tasmania and Victoria, with a number of Best in Show & Runner Up Best in show awards at both levels. We have been fortunate enough to title Tasmania's first Supreme Champion Clumber Spaniel, with another four of our dogs becoming Grand Champions.

Their job description, like other spaniels is to find and flush game for the gun; to be steady and to receive it tenderly, from land or water. The characteristics that make them good in the field have allowed them to transition well to city life and the Clumber is an excellent companion for those of us that do not work them to the gun. We are a small family kennel; and only breed occasionally. We enjoying showing our dogs and we also do a multitude of dog sports including obedience and tracking. Both parents have excellent temperaments and character and are from fully health tested lines with a proven background to suit any intended purpose. Pups will be vetted, microchipped and vaccinated, we pay special attention to socialization, frequent handling, exploring different environments and varied experiences to ensure a confident, friendly, outgoing nature. Hightarn have always had gundogs, firstly Labradors, liking their gentle temperament, especially around young children. As our family grew, we welcomed the Clumber Spaniel into our lives. Clumbers are an Olde English breed, they are smart, loyal and affectionate companions and great entertainers. Our dogs are our family and they live inside, alongside our ragdoll cats. They enjoy daily exercising and environmental enrichments. We have found that a balanced raw food diet keeps them healthy and strong. We place great thought and care into our breeding, with only healthy, young, genetically tested Clumbers and breed only occasionally from selected lines. We imported our new Stud Dog into Australia last year to create diversity and to widen the genetics here in Australia. All our breeding dogs undergo relevant health screenings together with a Full Breed Profile which includes PDPD testing with a DNA profile. Our Mum's and pups receive Veterinary care throughout, as we are very lucky to have a Vet in the family, this includes age appropriate vaccinations and microchipping. Special attention will be given to socialization, handling, and introducing new environments and experiences, laying the foundations to ensure an all-round balanced and healthy Clumber. Puppies occasionally available to approved homes.
