Sonza Dobermanns have been showing and breeding quality Dobermanns since 1980. Our dogs have correct Dobermann temperaments making excellent family dogs and loyal companions. The bloodlines we have carefully selected include some of the best European, North American, South American and older Australian bloodlines that have excelled in the show ring and in dog sports such as obedience and tracking. Our breeding philosophy focuses on soundness, health, longevity and conformation with each generation being better than the last. We are committed to the preservation of the Dobermann breed. We are proactive in genetic testing including DCM1, DCM2, vWD and UC Davis VGL Genetic Diversity testing for all of our breeding dogs. Over the years we have campaigned many dogs to conformation and obedience titles. John is a Dogs Australia CCD and CD obedience judge and Utility and Gundogs conformation judge. Beware of puppies from breeders who are not members of a Dogs Australia affiliate (eg. Dogs ACT, Dogs NSW).
