We have a modern state of the art boarding kennel licensed for fifty dogs nestled in lush green gardens, I share my love of dogs with my Daughter Karen. English Springer Spaniels have been my heart breed since 1984. My first prefix was Springdale. We do not breed often and only when we want a pup for ourselves. We always endeavor to maintain the breed standard and only go forward with what we see as a true and correct example of each breed. We do all necessary medical and genetic testing on breeding stock. We Recently Imported a Liver and White boy from Peasblossom and Calvdale lines in Poland, he has a fantastic temperament which will go through to his progeny.

We are a multi-generation show team residing in the southern suburbs of Perth, WA. Our aim is to breed according to the breed standard and continuing a successful show career with 'the crew'. We breed the English style of English Springer Spaniels, focusing on correct conformation and temperament. In 2018 we imported Ch. Barecho Custom Made (Björn) and Gr.Ch. Barecho B Witched (Annika) bred by Helene and David Björkman in Sweden. We started showing in July 2018, both dogs attained Australian Champion in 2019 and have picked up multiple awards since, including a RUBIS for Annika in 2022 and Grand Champion in 2023. Annika and Björn are live-in family! In 2019 they had their first litter of seven, with Arvid and Anja remaining with us under our prefix - Ch. Wytcher Angel Eyes and Gr.Ch. Wytcher Dancing Queen respectively - now both Aus Champions, Anja became Grand Champion in 2024. Annika and Björn gave us the beautiful B litter of 10 in 2021 - the irresistible Wytcher B Dazzled 'Beatris' was our keeper, with Ch. Wytcher B Spellbound 'Lily' moving to Darwin (a rockstar already with multi BIS), and Ch. Wytcher B Starbright 'Bella' moving to Victoria. In 2024, in order to extend our breeding lines into the future, we bred Annika to CIE. BE.CH. NL.CH. Crackerjanne Court Favour (UK) - delivering the stunning 'C' litter of seven. And now the ‘D’ litter has arrived - ten puppies to Anja and Oliver (Ch. Cardhu Dare to Chase) We intend only to breed to maintain a springer as part of our family life. Our aim at Bayspring is to produce sound, healthy puppies with that soft, effervescent temperament and willingness to please attitudes so typical of these gorgeous dogs. Breeding stock will have all the required health checks, including DNA profiling, hip and elbow scores and eye examinations with a copy of all health testing results provided in the puppy folder. We have had English Springer Spaniels since 1985 and enjoyed bringing up healthy and sound puppies while living in the Northern Territory. Since moving back to WA, we have been fortunate to have bred two litters of healthy, happy and much loved puppies from our Arthur (Supreme Ch Maketawa I’m Your Man and Lola (Ch Olbah Duchess of the Dunes) and one recently from Arthur and our Jazz (Ch Maketawa Mystique at Sandicam). We continue to study the breed and have had some wonderful mentors to guide us in selecting worthy dogs to rekindle our interest in producing sound, correct springers who will bring love, loyalty and that special springer pizzaz to their owners. We will provide support to all puppy buyers and will mentor prospective buyers who are interested in showing our puppies. Our current team love nothing better than running the beaches in Bremer Bay.
