The AYTEE Kennel is 48 years old and run by Lucie Hustler & Harriett Brownell in Canterbury New Zealand. We compete and show our GSP's and once they are proven, in the show ring and in field trials, we breed a litter from time to time and generally keep a puppy ourselves. Aytee dogs are driven hunters, stylish pointers and good retrievers. They swim well, have soft mouths and are trainable, with kind temperaments and they live in the home with families and children. The sire and dam are always health tested and proven in Show and Field Trials before breeding. Puppies are reared in the home, sold at 8 weeks, registered, health checked and microchipped but not injected. Harriett or Lucie would be very happy to answer any queries regards buying a puppy. You may be a first time owner or more experienced, whatever your query don't hesitate to call and we will do what we can to help. At Aytee we give preference to working homes and would ideally ask prospective owners to be a member of an organisation or club, involved in some aspect of hunting and gundog work although there are alternatives such as search and rescue work or other scent work that also suits a GSP. We believe that when a GSP is trained for a job its life is more fulfilled and it gives owners a proper chance of enjoying their GSP to the full.
