Puppies available going to new homes end of March 2025. see puppy for sale ads. Breeding since 1995. Pups go to pet homes and some do obedience, hunting and showing. We show lightly and have 2-3 litters per year. Our dogs have good hip scores. We have taken 8 puppies through to Australian Champion and 2 through obedience to Open level. Our pups are raised in the house until 4 weeks, then move to a large shed with our other dogs. For 25 years we lived at Gordon near Ballarat. In 2022, we moved to Nagambie in north central Victoria. Here is a comment from a recent buyer 'He's an angel, such a smart cookie. It feels like he almost understands every thing. He is just absolute perfection'. We love this breed but it is not for everyone. Vizslas are very active and want company all the time. They don't do well left alone during the day. It is best to have someone at home during the day. Buyers should be prepared to exercise daily and to spend a lot of time with the dog. Vizslas also like another dog for company and will do best if you already have a dog. You can get an idea about the breed by looking at facebook Vizsla pages, but pay attention to the negatives and the positives. Some dogs can be anxious and develop separation anxiety and barking. If you have kids, wait until the youngest is 5 years. Check the Hungarian Vizsla Club of Victoria and NSW websites for information on the breed. I breed for temprament, health,type and all round ability. Puppies with my bloodlines have, as well as winning at Crufts, are being worked with Hawks,working as professional gamekeepers/hunters dogs, being used as "PAT" dogs, training for Police Drug Detection, and doing Tracking and Agility as well as being excellent all round pets and family dogs! My first Tracking and Track and Search Champions achieved their titles without a single fail , I am very proud of Kessie and her 1/2 sister Rozsa for achieving this. We have been breeding vizslas for over 10 years. I have been hunting for 40 years with many different breeds. I fell in love with vizslas and I got my first vizsla Lara 13 years ago in 2011. Lara was a great hunting dog, hunting quail and retrieving ducks. We said goodbye to our dear friend in early 2022. She gave me great pleasure and enjoyment when I went out hunting. Lara was wonderful at home with the family and very friendly. She was like velcro. She was bred from international hunting blood lines and show lines. To replace her I started breeding. The photo is Marley one of Lara's pups which I kept. I also kept a daughter Lexi. To keep the strong hunting lines, I imported a bitch Xena from a US hunting kennel. Xena has been mated and is pregnant and expecting pups early December 24. Xena is a small vizsla. The father is a medium dog so the puppies are likely to be small to medium when grown. We follow the breed standard and focus on breeding for affectionate temperament, instinctive ability and correct conformation. Our vizslas are from the superb Agasvari bloodline and we aim to breed for true Hungarian looks and conformation. A potential vizsla owner must be prepared for daily exercise and spending a lot of time with their new companion as vizslas love being with you. Vizslas make excellent family members with their superb temperament and beautiful personalities. Please check the Hungarian vizsla websites, such as the Hungarian Vizsla Club of NSW or Victoria, for breed information. Our puppies are handled by ourselves and our children from an early age and will make fabulous pets, superb hunters or would excel in showing, obedience or other disciplines. Puppies are sold to approved homes only. They have limited registration and will be vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and vet checked.
