Home of Mungo, the first Mastiff to win Best in Show at an All Breeds Show in Australia for over 100 years and first for the 21st century. We only breed from dogs that are hip and elbow scored. Our passion for the breed has led us overseas and made us many friends and contacts. We have produced the first frozen semen litter for Mastiffs in Australia which was from semen imported from USA in conjunction with Yangerdook Mastiffs - this litter was registered under the joint prefix with D. Hobbs ''Yanoor. In spite of our consistent and current top awards at Mastiff specialites, Royals, and in All Breeds competition, we chose to breed our dogs infrequently and, as such, even more carefully select our breeding pairs. When puppies are available, for Australia and New Zealand they are for companion homes to be part of the family. International enquiries welcomed for show/breeding potential puppies and frozen semen. We fell in love with Mastiffs many years ago but brought our first Mastiff into our family in 2020, Miss Jelly. Because one is never enough, we added another girl, Miss Luna, in 2025. Our dogs live in the house as part of the family along with our toy poodle and cats. They regularly join us on our outings for coffee and particularly like spending time at the river. They are social with people, dogs of all sizes, cats and are respectful of livestock (horses, cattle, sheep, chooks). We are planning our first litter for mid/late October 2026 with the focus on soundness, correct temperament and type. All breeding dogs will have had their hips and elbows scored and DNA screening for genetic diseases and cystinuria. We are located in North East Victoria and welcome you following our Facebook page 'Braggonrose Mastiffs'. We also have a Facebook group with lots of photos/videos of our girls and their adventures - I can send link for those that are interested.
