Papillons have been with our family now for over 45 years. We enjoy watching these beautiful butterflies play and breed for quality not quantity. Our dogs have been DNA profiled and have tested Clear for von Willebrands Type One (1) disease, PRA 1 and NADS. We endeavour to only breed with DNA tested dogs. We believe that not only should our dogs be genetically cleared of disease but also be healthy in body and mind. We regularly have our dogs accessed for luxating patella’s which is also clear. To us health is paramount. Our dogs have been successful in the conformation ring, performance ring and of course in the home environment making amazing pets and therapy dogs. We welcome enquiries and occasionally have puppies and older dogs available to loving families and homes.

As a breeder I strive to breed to the Papillon standard and thus produce puppies that make excellent companions and/or show prospects. All our puppies are socialized from an early age and raised in our home on our two acres of parkland. Our Papillons have wonderful temperaments and are delightful to live with. In general terms, the Papillon Breed is considered a healthy toy breed,frequently living until age 13 to 17 years of age.Papillons are very intelligent, athletic, and friendly. They are the top performance dogs from the toy group. Generally Papillons are known to suffer from only two major genetic problems PRA and Patellar Luxation. Progressive Retinal Atrophy ( PRA ):This is a condition rarely seen but it is a genetic condition in Papillons that causes blindness sometime between 4 and 8 years of age. Both parents must be genetic carriers to produce a puppy with PRA. Patellar Luxation: Patella luxation is thought to be a genetic condition that arises due to a shallow groove in the fibula that allows the ligament holding the patella in position to slip out of the groove and allow the Patella (kneecap) to slide out of position. All our dogs are DNA and Vet tested for both diseases. Occasionally may have older dogs for sale to loving homes.

I have been involved in dogs for over 40 years. Initially having success with Welsh Corgis and 16 years ago fell in love with the delightful Papillon. They are loved family members and are pets first and show dogs second. I have had great success in the show ring and when I breed my aim is to produce a healthy, happy true to type Papillon.

I am a small breeder that specialise in loving Papillons for the show ring and pet homes. All my dogs are reared in the house and love sitting outside in the sunshine. My dogs have been DNA tested and I endeavour to only breed with DNA tested dogs. I have only been breeding for a short period of time and I have already out done my expectations and have my own home breed champions and excelled in the ring. I have achieved more than I thought possible and I am continuing to do so. I am forever aiming to improve my standards. My aim is always to provide excellent temperaments and I try to have all my puppies well socialised before they head off to their forever homes. I welcome any enquires and occasionally have puppies and older dogs available to loving homes. PLEASE NOTE I AM CURRENTLY NOT BREEDING AT THIS TIME.
