I was lucky to be given my first Papillon by my parents when I was 13 years old. I fell in love with this gorgeous breed and over 40 years later the Papillon is still the breed for me. I show most weekends and strive to breed beautiful puppies both sound in body and mind. They are well socialised and raised as house pets. 2016 was a fantastic year owning Number 1 Papillon in Australia Number 1 Rising Star in Australia and also Number 1 female in Australia. In 2024 I was awarded The Top Honours of Top Dog In South Australia and also Best In Group Adelaide Royal Show! I have been showing Papillons since late 2013 and came to the sport via obedience and trialling. I wanted to join my friends in the show ring and was looking for a dog that was small and easy to train. Papillons are the smartest dogs in the toy group and ranked about 8th overall. Their small size, good looks, sassy and happy outgoing disposition make them a perfect companion and they are ideal for smaller spaces as well as being dazzling little pocket rockets in the ring. All my dogs are DNA tested. Puppies and older dogs are sometimes available to the right home.

This beautiful Baroque silky-coated companion originated, as shown in Old Master's work, in Spain. These dainty, affectionate little beauties were gifted within Europe's Royal courts & graced the laps of European aristocrats. Papillons & Phalènes underwent breed consolidation in the 1500s due to French & Belgian breeders, giving us these enchanting yet robust little dogs. Internationally named Continental Toy Spaniels, they come in many beautifully shaded silky coats with Papillons exhibiting characteristic heavily fringed butterfly shaped ears. Littermates with low-set ears look more like the wings of a moth, hence the name Phalène. We are committed to breeding from old lines dating back to the 1800s to maintain the closeness with history & culture. We plan each litter by assessing the mother (dam) on various characteristics and consider the best male (stud) to complement and improve her qualities. Litters are uncommon; however, many hours are put into my puppies when we do have them.
