In 2000 ROKEENA PBGVs began carefully breeding from a wonderful foundation of PBGV's we imported from various Kennels around the world including Danish, English, USA, French and English & German lines. Over the past 15 years the results have been truly amazing with a number of 'Rokeena' dogs and bitches winning 'In Show' awards all around Australia, along with Groups placings at Royals, including 4 Puppy in Groups at Sydney & Melbourne Royals along and 2 Puppy In Shows at Sydney Royal in 2009 and 2011. Rokeena also made its mark internationally with the amazing Multi BIS winner, 'Am & Aust.Gr.Ch. Rokeena Carte Blanche' who won the USA PBGV National in 2008 and went on to become #1Hound in the USA in 2009 capping it off with #4 In Group at Westminster in 2010. 2012 began a new era with Shellie Marshall joining as a partner and who steered our amazing top dog Sup.Ch.NZ Grd.Ch Rokeena Garcon Reveur to Runner Up in Show at Melbourne Royal, ending the year as #1 Hound and #3 All Breeds. With the arrival help of Shellie’s Partner Gwen Huikeshoven both before she arrived and her arrival in 2021 with her wonderful dogs from the Netherlands, we have been able to breed individuals of a consistent true type who are continuing to make their presence in the groups and show line ups. Our aim is to continue to healthy individuals of good type to insure the future of the breed here in Australia. We are also proud to say Rokeena has produced 66 Champions 10 Supreme champions to date.

TumTums PBGV and GBGV is from the Netherlands and arrived into Australia in October 2021. Gwen, a veterinary surgeon and breeder of top winning dogs all over the world bought her dogs to Australia to follow her dream. She has been involved with dogs since birth and follows in her parents footsteps in breeding quality dogs. Gwen has won BEST in SHOW at the WORLD Dog show and BEST IN HOUND GROUP at Crufts as well as numerous BEST IN SHOW wins across Europe Shellie has been involved in the breed for 10 years with the Rokeena prefix and still is involved to this day.
