With several years of trialling and exhibiting experience, I am focusing on breeding balanced Standard Poodles who are sound, confident and fun to live with. I am passionate about the breed and its original function as a water retriever. This includes breeding to the set standard of the breed. I frequently campaign dogs in the ring and all Valravn Standard Poodles are titled prior to breeding. I also compete in a range of sports including Rally, Agility, Tracking and our favourite - Field Retrieval. We love showing the world that a Poodle will try anything asked of them! My foundation bitch was an incredible introduction into the breed. She has an amazing temperament and sassy disposition. Astrid is currently the only Standard Poodle being shown and trialled in a corded continental clip, which definitely makes her stand out! Valravn breeding dogs are health tested and cleared of all genetic health conditions that can be detected via DNA testing and have acceptable hip and elbows scores. These results are available on request. Puppies are lovingly raised in the home with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Puppy Culture Programs as well as basic training and grooming desensitisation. This sets your puppy up to be an excellent family pet or sport, working or show dog. We focus on friendly personalities and correct structure for healthy Standard Poodles.
