Welcome to Malerisch Standard Poodles! We are a small breeder located in the Lockyer Valley in sunny Queensland. To me the standard poodle is one of the most versatile breeds. Being bred to their history allows them to be wonderful working dogs while fitting perfectly into thw modern family home as loving family members. All my poodles are raised in my family home with kids, other animals and a busy life at my grooming salon. There for the temperament of my dogs are number one! We also complete all health testing, and champion our dogs in the conformation and sporting rings before choosing to breed. My goal is to breed easy tempermented poodles for the family home that are also healthy and sound in conformation. They must be able to be fine living on a couch or comfy bed and be able to get up and fly around an agility track or go on a hike that weekend. I am also very passionate about inviting new people into our breed within the conformation shows and sporting rings so please contact me even if I don't have a litter available and we can certainly chat and get you started! Happy, healthy dogs, bred to the breed standard, with exceptional temperaments and versatility. As a Veterinarian and Nationally certified Dog Trainer, our passion for the poodle breed shines through with extensive health and temperament testing of our dogs. All parents are hip and elbow scored, DNA tested and clear of all breed specific inheritable diseases. Puppies are lovingly raised with Puppy Culture, ENS and ESI within our home and are well socialized with a variety of environments and animals. Special attention is paid to puppy development. Puppies are playful, social, outgoing and highly trainable. They are introduced to toilet training at 4 weeks of age and basic fundamental puppy training. Puppies are groomed regularly and are familiar with the hydrobath, and being clipped every 2 weeks from 4 weeks of age. We aim to produce puppies suitable for therapy and assistance. Colours include red, apricot, blue and silver. Our Kennel is set in the beautiful Southern Downs, 3hrs from Brisbane.
