We have been owned by pugs for the last 14 years and will never be without one. I have been very fortunate to have obtained my foundation pugs from Kangala (Kerry Cannon) and Kabova (Jenny & Chris Whitney). We have just recently had our first litter from these two lines and are very impressed with what we are seeing in Health and Temperament from Mabel and Ralph. Next year I hope to be able to travel to some shows and go forward with further plans to breed over the coming years.

I have Been breeding dogs for 45 years, I like agility and have shown on and off for 40 years. Pugs for 25 years, SA. We have 4 acres of country side, we are 10 degrees cooler than Adelaide. pugs are known to live very contently here, I have good vets that promote good healthy outcomes for my dogs. The pugs eat Royal Cannin food. I have shown in the cooler months of a year. My pups are sold with fact sheets and are on limited/main pedigree papers as per Dogs SA guidelines. RUSSIANBEAR pugs is a small breeder specialising in quality black pugs. We have imported a number of dogs from Russia to begin our program focusing on breed standards of conformation, health, temperament and exceptional quality of black colour. Our imported dogs are already with Champion, Grand and International Champion titles from highly sought after Champion bloodlines in all generations of their pedigrees. We also show many of our dogs and puppies on occasion. All of our dogs and puppies are kept and raised in our family home and no expense is spared in their care. We do have on occasion puppies available to approved pet homes and we expect the same care from our puppy buyers. Our puppies are sold desexed and with 2nd vaccination and vet health certificate. We conduct various health testing on all dogs used in our breeding program. Please note our website is still under construction.

We are situated on a 30 acre property on the banks of the Campaspe River near Elmore. We take pride in our property and our pugs and they are raised both inside and outside. Occasionally we have a litter and offer some babies on Limited Registration with Dogs Victoria. I bred my first pug 34 years ago and have loved the breed and enjoy having them on our property and showing them throughout Australia. All our pugs are health tested through Orivet and we take health very seriously and do all of the testing to help ensure happy and healthy pugs. When a baby goes to their family they leave with everything to help make their transition as fun and stress free for both the family and the baby puppy.
