We have a huge respect for the dogs of the past & now move forward with our youngsters. A lot has changed over the years & now that health testing is available, our breeding dogs are all tested for Hip & Elbow, Eyes. A Liver function test is performed on our puppies prior to going to their new homes. All our dogs are our loving pets who share our house & lives regardless of anything else. I only breed on average 1 litter per year & welcome any enquiries in relation to our wonderful breed.

We got our first Samoyed in 1978 just after I saw a Sammy for the first time, first as pets, then we started to show and breed, but always they are our pets or more to the point, part of our family. It is very rare to see me in a car without a Sammy with me, I have one as a companion pretty much everywhere I go. We aim to breed our Samoyeds to the English standard, coats and heads are very important to us, a Sammy must firstly look like a Sammy. Our puppies are brought up inside our house so they are part of the family from the day they open their eyes. Our Sammies are house dogs, part of the family. We find we do not have to spend much time at all to keep our dogs coats in top condition, even though we live on a rural property. Showing is hard for us these days with business commitments but aim to get the babies out to socialize them when we can.

Kasamu became a champion in the show ring and produced some lovely puppies to name a few are CH. Kalaska Touched By Magic - Remi and CH. Kalaska Finishing Touch - Shay The first Snocozy litter was born in 2007 which we kept a beautiful boy called Beau - Snocozy What A Charmer. Beau won many awards including Best of breed at the Melbourne Royal in 2008. From 2011 there has been a big break from breeding and showing due to personal circumstances, but we are excited to make a come back and look forward to an up coming litter in 2024

Zareine Samoyeds is located on acreage in South Gippsland, Victoria only 40 minutes from Cranbourne. We have been actively involved in conformation showing and performance sports with our dogs for over 30 years. We owned Belgian Shepherds for 15 years before getting our first Samoyeds in 2008. In 2011, we bred our first litter which produced our highly successful BIS Ch. Zareine Secret Rendezvous and his sister, Ch. Zareine Secret Kiss CD RE ET. Our aim is to breed happy, healthy long-living dogs that are of sound mind and body. All puppies bred by us are health tested prior to leaving, including Aces Eye Test, Bile Acid Test and DNA profiled. They are also vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped and wormed. Copies of all health tests are provided to new owners. Our dogs do not live in kennels. They spend their days running around our property and sleep inside the house with us as part of the family. Our puppies are raised in our home and sold for performance sports and as family pets to loving caring homes.
