This produced the superb Schipperke Grand Champion Hapipet Hobbits Pride. Hapipet uses the ANKC standard for Schipperkes as its breeding target. It breeds infrequently to re-stock. Hapipet Kennels also seeks to demonstrate the ability of the Schipperke to be a canine all-rounder via its involvement in Conformation, Obedience, Agility and Endurance. At Hapipet Kennels each Schipperke is a member of the household, which provides a productive atmosphere for socialisation and the development of excellent temperaments. Philip and Paula have committed themselves to the cause of the Schipperke in Australia, between them serving at various times as President and Secretary of the Schipperke Club of Victoria and the Non Sporting Dog Club of Victoria, and Obedience Instructor and Committee member at Northern Obedience Dog Club. Having been devoted to my primary breed, the Miniature Pinscher, for the past 20 years, I finally added my 'covet' breed, the Schipperke, to my life at the start of 2023, with the arrival of my lovely, well-bred boy, Wiley (Monterrez Wildest Dreams). From there, I enjoyed the lease of delightful girl Mazi (Sunfire Amazement), and then welcomed very special and magnificent boy, Sir Tristan (Monterrez Xcalibur), who is maturing beautifully and starting to shine in the show ring. My love for this enchanting and glorious breed grows each day, and I look forward to very exciting things ahead in my journey with my current and future Skips.
