Our show team participate in select conformation shows both locally and interstate, but are adored family members above all else. Margaret has been involved with Staffords since the very early 1980's with her first Stafford from Joyce Shorrocks kennel Eastaff - with Young Bess of Eastaff and this beautiful girl gave me the bug for showing these fantastic dogs. We have continued to love and care for Staffords here in New Zealand since arriving here in 1986. The picture is of our boy CH Challenger Ceasar Rex. Nero was made up to Champion at the beginning of Jan 2014. Shadowstaff Diamond Al - has done well in all his shows so far. Al is a beautiful dark red with almost black eyes - his pigment is absolutely first class. Nero, AL and Mac are available at stud to approved bitches. Mac has already won 3 Reserve CC's at only 8 months old. We have high hopes for this wee lad. Our dogs are all house dogs, not kenneled, and are used to people and children being around them all the time. In October 2008 we relocated to Australia and as we were unable to register "Warmaster" in Australia, we bred under the prefix "Blackshot". After returning to New Zealand in March 2023 "Warmaster" has been re-activated with Dogs NZ and will be our kennel name again. All breeding stock is L2-HGA & HC DNA tested clear, Eye Tested and chosen for adherence to the breed standard both physically and mentally.

I love them for their cheeky playfulness and the fact they are such characters, as well as their loving and loyal nature. My Staffords are part of my family and NO Stafford of mine will ever be "regretfully rehomed" In our family at this time we have two gorgeous girls & one male. We live on a 4 acre property and our dogs have free rein of our house and property. Our puppies are raised In our house as part of the family and receive all the cuddles & attention they could ever want or need from me and my children. My girls are genetically tested by DNA and are clear of HC, L2Hga & DM. All puppies leave with 1st Vax, microchipping, Intestinal worming, flea treatment and a health check done by my vet. The also leave with a puppy pack containing copies of parents pedigrees & DNA reports as well as food, toys & treats. I also offer lifetime breeder support if ever needed. We aim to breed the traditional old-style Stafford, with correct shape, size, and temperament. We do not believe in shortcuts—and it shows in our dogs. Our dogs are fed only super-premium and raw diets, with a strong focus on proper exercise and learning through play. Our dogs are never kept in cages or pens and have free roam of our home and yard at all times. They are socialised with horses, pigs, sheep, cats, birds, and children. All of our dogs are valued family members and are included in everyday activities, helping them develop into well-rounded and balanced animals. All of our dogs are fully DNA tested and cleared, have correct bites and ears, and display rich colour with no skin or sensitivity issues. We do not accept colour requests for puppies, and all puppies are required to be desexed in accordance with our contract.
