My love affair with this wonderful breed began 23 years ago in 2003 with my first Weimaraner 'Sami' (Ch Feldjaeger Kameo) My 'ASHBOLT' prefix was registered in 2009 and is Home to Multi Titled dogs including Australia's Youngest Owner, Bred & Handled Supreme Champion Weimaraner 'Lucas'. I am passionate about preserving the Weimaraner's athletic appearance, natural working ability and soundness of mind and body. I strive to promote their trainability and versatility as an 'all round' sporting dog by successfully competing in various disciplines. From my first litter in 2010 I kept "Lucas" SUPREME Ch Ashbolt Ark Royal RN TD ET who excelled in the showring since his debut in June that year. He's a multiple Best in Show winner both here and interstate under Judges from around the World. He also accumulated various Dog Sport Titles in Obedience, Tracking, Endurance and has competed and placed in Retrieving Trials. A perfect example of what 'ASHBOLT' strives for. In 2018 I had my second litter sired by 'Lucas'. His son 'Marcus' SUPREME Ch Ashbolt High Class (AI) RN TD ET JC is showing the many natural abilities of his parents. He gained the Tracking Dog Title at just 8 months of age and his Conformation Title shortly after. Like his sire he is an All Breeds Best in Show, RU Best in Show and multiple Best in Group winner. Athletic intelligent and versatile 'Marcus' also has titles in various Dog Sports. My dogs are Hip/Elbow Scored and DNA Tested for hereditary diseases.

We decided to look for a bitch to compliment Odin and after an extensive search we brought Aust Ch Griswold Time in Motion (Xena) in to our home and Odin instantly loved her even as a baby.Two years later we then brought Aust Ch Griswold Vienna Romance ( Freya) in to the family. Established in 1972, Morago Kennels has concentrated on improving the working ability of the Weimaraner breed. Our dogs are all hunted and most have competed in Retrieving and/or Field Trials. Dusty, my foundation bitch hunted duck, quail, rabbit, hare, pheasants, partridge, wild turkeys and pigs. Her grandson, Ch. Morago Manov War won a number of stakes in Retrieving Trials and was the first Weimaraner ever to win a Field Trial in Victoria. The current girls are both from pure American working lines. The litter sister of Rana gained the title of Field Trial Champion and was the first of her breed to win a State Championship. Semen imported from the best field trial dog in America was used to obtain our next generation. Our next planned litter will be the first for our newest American import KNIGHT N PM'S GREYTRIEVE AMERICAN PIE @ MORAGO Imp USA. Waylon sports the most impressive pedigree ever introduced into Australia with a mixture of proven Field and Show Champions, the complete package of working and show genetics. STUD D0G available - KNIGHT N PM'S GREYTRIEVE AMERICAN PIE @ MORAGO (Imp USA). Waylon is the complete package with a pedigree full of American Field and Show Champions including six National Champions. All of our dogs have been DNA tested and are free of all of the known inherited genetic diseases namely Hyperuricosuria, Hypomyelination, Spinal Dysraphism and Degenerative Myelopathy . They have all been X-Rayed for both Hip and Elbow Dysplasia.

Weizpoint Weimaraners Est. 2016 Having been involved with dogs all my life, but not knowing about Weimaraners in particular until 2008, I immediately fell in love at first sight with the Weimaraner Longhair After researching the breed for a few years, including assessing behaviour, health risks and training requirements I brought home my first Longhair "Hunter" Sharlani Fudgie Bear (LH) in 2012. I spent 9 wonderful years years working with Hunter and continuing to learn about Weimaraners. Hunter sadly passed nin mid known as: DUAL CH (T) GR CH SHARLANI FUDGIE BEAR (LH) ET JC Hunter was fortunate to have sired 3 litters with: - Feldjaeger QLD 2015 - Seriousgrey TAS 2015 - Greywei ACT 2017 with 5 champion Progeny to date, Hunter was certainly proven as a handsome sire. Weizpoint is Certified under the Dogs Victoria Breeding Accreditation Program Weizpoint has the future intention of breeding Weimaraners of both coat varieties. In 2021 Weizpoint welcomed Waldweise Worlds Apart 'Heidi' to our family. Heidi is a beautiful girl who will be breeding in 2024 with Waldweise Kennels SA.
