Australian Neuter Champion Abbiestar French Riviera SPRD

Introducing 'Dashi' Dashi is fourth generation Abbiestar breeding, she is the daughter of Abbiestar Kennel's first dual champion and granddaughter to our Canadian import. Now retired from breeding, Dashi has been a valuable addition to our kennel, and most importantly, a dearly loved member of our family. She has been the perfect mother and role model to our Pretzel (Neut Ch Abbiestar Aix En Provence ET), Luca (Ch Abbiestar Luca von Pillersdorf ET RN SPRD), Stella (Abbiestar Stella Etoile) and Comet (Abbiestar Halleys Comet ET N.SPRD), in addition to producing Japanese Champion, Cru, (JKC Champion Abbiestar Cru) and Henry (Abbiestar Vesuvius N.SPRD) who is also rapidly approaching his title. We believe in her soundness in conformation, her elegance and her pleasing appearance to the eye. She is a well proportioned example of the breed, moderate in every sense. Dashi is the dog who is not yet done and she always has something to prove. She loves being out and about and around people. So at the age of nine, why not bring her out to the show ring? We are thoroughly enjoying the campaign for her Australian Neuter Championship, entering her in some sprint dog trials, having some fun with her and more importantly, seeing her have a ball. In two short months of being campaigned as a neuter, she has had a group placing over competition and multiple BOB wins over competition. We are so proud of her and grateful we have been able to share this time and experience with her. Whilst she is now retired from the show ring, Dashi is now commencing her sports career with a love for sprinting and learning a few rally signs. On 14/09, our plastic bag chasing queen qualified for her Novice SprintDog title (N.SPRD). On 16/11/25, she qualified for her full SprintDog title (ANKC Pending). Dashi achieved her final points needed for her Neuter Championship on 19/04/25. A bittersweet moment, we are so proud of our old girl who at nearly 11, can show the youngsters how it's done.
