Gorgeous Cocker Spaniel babies are anticipated here at Kalaugher, with puppies expected to be ready for their new homes around the weekend of 18–19 July 2026, if all proceeds as planned. Kalaugher is a small, home-based Cocker Spaniel breeder located in Weston, North Otago, New Zealand, dedicated to preserving correct breed type, sound temperament and long-term health. Our dogs are raised as part of the family and are regularly exhibited in the conformation show ring. This carefully planned breeding incorporates Australian and New Zealand bloodlines, selected for quality, balance and temperament. We breed only occasionally, usually when planning to retain a puppy for our own show team, with any remaining puppies placed in carefully chosen homes. All breeding dogs undergo comprehensive DNA health testing, including PRA-prcd, FN (AHRN) and AON, ensuring no puppy bred at Kalaugher will be affected by these known hereditary conditions. Puppies are raised inside our home with extensive early socialisation and exposure to everyday household activity, children and other animals, giving them a confident and well-adjusted start to life. Puppies will be registered with Dogs New Zealand and sold with endorsements, including not to be bred from and not to be shown. Puppies will be microchipped, vaccinated, vet checked and well socialised, with ongoing advice and support provided. Expressions of Interest are invited for a carefully bred, health-tested Cocker Spaniel.

Puppies expected early May 2026, blue roan and possibly black. Both parents are fully health tested including DNA tested and are champion show dogs as well as well loved companions. This is my first litter in two years as I believe in quality not quantity. Suedanka Kennels is known for quality, health tested cockers that achieve at the highest levels in the show ring. Puppies will be registered with Dogs NZ, microchipped, regularly wormed, first vaccine and come with puppy pack, insurance and advice - no shortcuts are taken on raising our babies! I am a Royal Canin Ambassador, so all my dogs are fed premium food, I am also a championship qualified dog judge. Puppies available as loving companions - must be wanted as companions to live inside as part of the family.
