Aiming to breed good quality, physically and mentally sound border collies suitable for agility, obedience, herding, tracking, endurance and some showing. Foundation bitch (nAG CH 500 Timatosha Jus Wone Look CCD RAE ADM7 ADO7 JDM9 JDO9 SDX SPDX GDX ET HSAs) has excellent conformation and temperament, excelling in agility, obedience, endurance, rally obedience, herding and some tracking. Swazi has also worked in short films in starring roles, and as a therapy dog in nursing homes. She represented the state in the Qld State Agility Team at the 2012 Agility Nationals. She also achieved the title of Agility Dog of The Year in 2013.Swazi was the Fastest Veteran Dog and Fastest Veteran Border Collie 2015, running 100m in 7.36secs in lure coursing. Brisk,daughter of Swazi, my current breeding bitch, earned her first 3 titles before the age of 9 months and a 4th title before 18 months of age. She strives to please in anything she does, is excellent in every sport she has trained in. She constantly amazes judges with her work ethic. She has perfect hip and elbow scores and lovely conformation. She is incredibly fast in agility, and has a huge future in dog sports. She has acheived the Title of Fastest Border Collie in australia 2015 running 100m in 5.0secs in lure coursing. Also being 3rd fastest dog over all breeds in australia. At Taaffeite Border Collies we focus on breeding a great temperament, trainable nature and an overall sound healthy dog that will excel at dog sports and in a active family home. Own and run by a veterinary nurse, our dogs health and well-being come first. Our adult dogs stay with us for life and are a part of our family. Our dogs are DNA cleared for CEA, TNS, NCL and all other genetic disease found in border collies using Orivet Genetic Labs. We also hip and elbow score our dogs... All of our breeding dogs have excellent scores. We produce some beautifully coloured border collies, but NEVER sacrifice nature or health to produce colour. CLASSICYDS have been breeding and showing Border Collies for over 27 years. We are located at Caboolture and our dogs are raised as part of our family. All of our dogs are DNA health tested, hip and elbow tested, and all health results are provided to our puppies owners. We have bred and shown multiple Best In Show and Specialty Show winners, Supreme Champions, Grand Champions, Australian Champions, and Obedience, Rally, Tricks and Endurance Champions.

We are a small breeder currently living in Rocksberg after spending our last 20+ years in the Scenic Rim. As a Veterinary Nurse I bought my first Border Collie pup Shep 40 years ago and have been in love with the breed ever since. We have also owned and shown our wonderful Kangal Dogs over the years. Our beautiful girl Lacey (KOLORKO BING IT ON AGAIN) is 3 years old and was raised on a Thoroughbred Stud, constantly by my side whether on the buggy/quad doing the feed run, helping bringing the mares and foals in for vetting or keeping a watchful eye on the farrier in case she might get some hoof trimmings:) Our first litter born 5/7/22 have all gone to some amazing homes throughout Australia and we love hearing how they well they have all fitted in with their new families and love getting updates from them. We have kept Nash (Chaymagika Ezekiel Nash) from this litter and look forward taking him in the showring. We have no other litters planned at this stage.
