Our goal is to breed for conformation, sporting ability and companionship. Our foundation bitch, Taylor (Kolorko Strong Blak Valentine), carries the ‘Borderstrong’ lines, a kennel that bred exceptional dogs, was home to some of Australia’s earliest border collie lines, and was the inspiration for our kennel prefix: ‘Beaustrong‘. Little did we know that ‘Borderstrong’ owner Des Strong goes by ‘Beau’ to his friends and loved ones. It seems it was meant to be. Our stud dog Marshall (Bidgeesrun Guccis Gift Marshall) comes from quality sporting dog lines and a great pedigree. He is a third-generation flyball dog. He picked up a full run in 3 weeks; it's like it runs in his veins! We look forward to seeing the puppies he produces; they will be perfect for anyone looking for their next sporting champ! Gracie, our beautiful red head, joined us in 2025 and is showing great promise in the show ring. We're enjoying the process of learning to show together and I look forward to many years of showing dogs and hope that one day we can breed our own Australian champion. I am a boutique stud breeding for Beauty, Brains and Temperament. I have been out of the breeding scene for 10 years but have recently been able to commit to my dogs and puppies once more. My dogs are extensively health checked and temperament tested in many situations to ensure, to the best of my ability, puppies that are fabulous, healthy, life long companions. I have previously bred show and agility dogs but I mainly aim to breed quality family pets. We are a small kennel located in Adelaide's North. I have been involved with Border Collies for 20 years now and have commenced my breeding program in 2024 with my first litter. My dogs are primarily bred to be versatile and well-rounded dogs, suitable for a variety of activities. The health and temperament of my dogs is my main focus when breeding. All dogs are DNA tested, Hip & Elbow scored, Shoulders vet assessed and Veterinary Ophthalmic Examinations are completed before any breeding plans are made.
