Our cockers have now won sixteen royal challenges & numerous BIS Cocker Speciality shows, ACT Royal Best In Show winner plus the cream of the cream BEST IN SHOW MELBOURNE ROYAL SHOW 2006, entry of 4043 dogs & in the same year BEST IN SHOW 12th NATIONAL SHOW held in NSW, along with many major city shows to our credit. We have enjoyed BIS at five Cocker Nationals with two RU awards, this event always judged by a Cocker Spaniel Expert from the UK, the mother country of the breed. Our cockers have the true cocker temperament making them excellent pets for the family. We have imported stock to ensure our high standards are maintained. We breed when we need new stock so quality not quantity, Inspection invited by appointment, our premises are clean and well managed. Our small team of happy cockers are a pleasure to be loved by, our aim is to enjoy the breed and promote the 'Cocker Spaniel' to those who also love the breed as we do. GLENBROOK COCKER SPANIELS Glenbrook Cocker Spaniels is on the Mornington Peninsula, in Safety Beach. I ventured into the show ring in 2006 and have now titled 15 champions, 2 of those from the dogs I have imported. I am proud of that achievement. In 2016 my dogs won first, second and third best cocker spaniel at the Royal Melbourne Show. This was the most amazing experience and the greatest positive feedback I have ever received. In 2024 I won a Best in Show with our beautiful black girl Winx. My breeding focus is on temperament and type and I pride myself in bringing the beautiful personality of the cocker to the forefront. In order to continue to develop the breed type I have imported dogs from both the United Kingdom, The Netherlands and France. Their offspring is currently being shown by other exhibitors and are enhancing our future breeding. To ensure that our puppies grow into healthy companion dogs I encourage our new adoptive parents to visit each weekend to bond with their puppy and to learn how best to support the growth and development of their puppy. I am a show exhibitor and select breeder of solid English Cocker Spaniels (Black, Gold and Black and Tan). My aim is to breed healthy cocker spaniels of the highest quality, temperament and type. To further improve my breeding program, I have imported dogs from both the UK and France. Puppies are bred to produce quality show dogs and to improve the breed, hence I only have limited litters. From these litters however, puppies may be available as loving family companions. Puppies are lovingly raised in our home and well socialised. Puppies are sold on "Limited Register" which means that they cannot be shown or bred with. The Limited Register still allows them to compete in dogs sports such as agility, obedience, tracking, Dancing with Dogs, Gundog retrieving and field trials etc. Of utmost importance is the health and well being of my dogs. At Carawood all my dogs are DNA tested for the main hereditary problems in the breed. Selective and careful breeding ensures that none of my dogs will ever be affected by these diseases: PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy), FN (Familial Nephropathy) and AON (Adult Onset Neuropathy). I am a committee member of the Cocker Spaniel Club of Victoria and actively involved with the club. More than 39 years ago our chosen breed was Irish Setters. We were extremely successful in the show ring with all our dogs quickly gaining their titles; five of seven were of our own breeding. In 2014 we acquired our foundation English Cocker Spaniel girl, eventually returning to both showing and breeding arenas. Our Cloverpark offspring is a blend of Glenbriar (SA), Britebay (VIC) and now Bolwarra (NSW) English Cocker Spaniel blood lines, which so far has produced pleasing results. Mum Crystal has been genetically tested PRA, FN and AON free and for DNA parentage. Sorry no further litters planned

English Cocker Spaniels We adopted our first Cocker Spaniel into our family 15 years ago and have never looked back! Honey and Henry were our first fur babies back in 2010. We love their merry, loyalty, gentle, pleasing nature along with their sound temperaments which has given us many years of joy. I’ve been a trainer in Certificate II Animal Studies for 6 years and hold a current Cert IV in Training and Assessment as well as hold a Certificate III in Companion Animal Services. My current female mum Bella was part of this program at school and she loved the attention from children and young adults as well as all the extra grooming, exercise and cuddles. Bella (Gold) and Harold (Orange Roan) being the most recent additions to the family have recently had a much anticipated litter which we waited 5 years for and they are both Pedigree ANKC registered. All babies have now been adopted thank you (October 2024). We may have a new litter in late 2025. Harold is also available for stud services. He has an amazing temperament and great genetic Orivet results. We use Terang Veterinary Clinic in Victoria, as they have an excellent Canine Breeding Service - specialising in canine reproduction. Side by side or natural mating can be facilitated with your female. Costs for female progesterone tests and mating is reasonable to prospective breeders.
