While we have enjoyed much success in the All Breeds ring, our main enjoyment and pride has come with our success in the Specialty & National Specialty ring. Woodwych bred, owned & handled GSP's have won Best In Show at 3 of the 12 Australian GSP National Breed Specialties (2008, 2012 & 2017) - to date, we are the only kennel to have achieved this. Made particularly special is the fact that this is within 3 generations of breeding (mother/son/granddaughter). At both the 2012 and 2017 Nationals, our dogs were awarded both CC's. We are consistently breeding generation after generation of exceptional quality German Shorthaired Pointers for show, obedience, field & retrieving work, as well as wonderful family pets. All our puppies are health checked, microchipped, vaccinated and are fed on Advance dog food. We have also been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to import semen from Barleyarch Kennels in the UK and thank Sue and Martin Harris for their kindness in allowing some of their "boys" to come to us in Australia. They will be ready to go on the weekend of 4 May,2024. They are from top show lines, Supreme and Grand Champions but we also emphasize the working abilities of our dogs and their need to be family companion dogs. We can run training days from time to time which includes experience on birds. The puppies have all been raised in a healthy family environment and well socialised on our farm at Roslyn NSW. We work our dogs as well as show them and they are in an ideal Gundog environment. They are also successful in Dog Sports, Agility, Obedience etc. They are all vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, registered and vet checked.
