Germanicus Kennels whelped their first litter of puppies in March 1973. Having 2 beautiful Supreme Champions, 2 Grand Champions and several Australian and Dual Champions in our small team of GSP's I couldn't be prouder as a breeder. Temperament, true conformation & biddable GSP's is my breeding aim. WHEN TEMPERAMENT MATTERS, our dogs have even temperaments, wonderful natures and are brought up with children (13 & 15) and in a family environment. Our stud dogs and bitches are all hip & elbow scored. All results available on request. All our dogs come from outstanding Show and Field lines, and wonderful family dogs. HOW - Breeding takes place in our home, puppies are raised with our children and other dogs. Animal welfare is always our primary consideration. All dogs used in our breeding program have full DNA screening, hip & elbow exams, vet exams before breeding. Our dogs are from some of the most established GSP kennels in Australia. With a combination of Show Champions, Field Champions, and hunting lines. We breed to produce dogs that are: 1. healthy and physically sound 2. have a warm and loving temperament as a GSP should 3. fun and intelligent 4. maintain their innate drive as a gun dog. Our dogs are fantastic as: 1. Pets, running companions etc 2. for obedience, agility or trialing events 3. gun dog work Our puppies are sold on the ANKC limited register. We believe GSPs should both look good in the show ring and perform in the field. We are currently working towards a Duel Champion titles for all our dogs.
