Madarigold is a small breeder of Golden Retrievers located in NE Victoria. Our Goldies are a big part of our lives and important family members. They enjoy a life with lots of love and attention where they get to regularly play, swim, and meet lots of people and dogs. We aim to breed healthy, happy, beautiful dogs with excellent temperaments, for like-minded loving families. Puppies are raised in our home and well socialised. Parents are x-rayed & scored for hips & elbows, clear of heart disease & clear of inherited eye disease. We are members of the Golden Retriever Club of Victoria. At Madarigold, we are proud to use the Puppy Culture socialisation and training program to support us to optimise our puppies’ physical and mental development. Our aim is to provide our puppies with a solid foundation to help them become confident and well-adjusted dogs who become cherished family members. We maintain a private Madarigold FB group for past and present puppy families to keep in touch and post photos and updates about our dogs and new litters. In addition to our emphasis on health and temperament, we are equally committed to findng the best homes for our puppies. We use an Expression of Interest form in the first instance followed by telephone and face-to-face meetings. We take lots of photos and videos as the puppies develop to share with prospective families. We have a litter due in August 2025. They will be ready to go to their new homes toward the end of October 2025.
