TALEYAH GOLDEN RETRIEVERS I have owned Golden Retrievers since I was 11yrs old and started showing briefly in England before emigrating to Australia. I brought my two beautiful Stanroph Golden Retrievers with me to Australia. I have been showing my dogs here in Australia since 2010. In 2013 I imported my beautiful boy Australian Champion Majik Macavity from my good friend Liisi at Majik Kennels in Finland. He has produced some stunning progeny both here and in the USA with progeny currently in the show ring in WA, SA, VIC, and QLD. In 2014 I imported my foundation bitch from Majik Kennels, Australian Champion Majik Queen of Jazz and in 2016 my beautiful girl produced the first litter at Taleyah Golden Retrievers, the sire was the stunning Zenievieva North Atlantic Drift who won Puppy at Crufts before heading to QLD. Their progeny.... Bindi (Taleyah A lass From Ballymore) lives with me and is now an Australian Champion at just 14 mths, she is stunning and very cheeky and her litter sister in QLD Mallory (Taleyah Antipodean Drift) is well on the way to her title. The gorgeous Duggan (Taleyah Wild Colonial Boy at Arangold) headed off to NZ. I now have four generations of Taleyah Golden Retriever's living with me. Taleyah Golden Retrievers are excited about the future with another litter due around 1st July 2025. I am now taking enquiries for this planned litter. As an odedience instructor there is nothing more rewarding than watching dogs grow in their education and become valuable members of our society that are a joy to walk. Welcome to Gould Ridge farm, we are a small hobby farm located 25kms North of Adelaide. We have been involved in showing Golden Retrievers and German Shepherds for the last few years and have just started breeding our own GouldRidge line. Our breeding aim is to better the breed while maintaining a tempement that suits show dogs and family pets. We believe the pairing of our girl Keelobe Dancing in the sun -Summer to Albuyec Scot Free with Askaval - George will do just that. You can be assured that both Dam and Sire for this mating and any Dam or Sire used for future matings have been hip and elbow cleared, eyes cleared by a specialist opthamologist, heart cleared by a specialist cardiologist and a full DNA panel done to ensure hereditary diseases are not passed on to the puppies. Our dogs are members of our family and live inside with us, as will the puppies, the puppies have their own outdoor courtyard to ensure safe play away from the adult dogs. Our puppies are handled and socialised daily, we believe it is important to begin basic age appropriate obedience, toilet training and house training before the puppies leave us. Although most of our time handling, socialising and taking the puppies around the farm is highly engaging and active, we also find value in quiet, low activity socialisation too. These types of activities include house training, with treat rewards for sitting quietly, being calm and ignoring the cat, and indoor plants.
