**NISTAR GOLDENS was established in 1979**. I HAVE NO PUPPIES AVAILABLE AND DO NO PLAN ON ANY LITTERS FOR QUITE SOME TIME. Breeding for quality, soundness & temperament. I have bred/owned dogs that have excelled & gained titles in conformation, obedience, tracking and agility, also many others who were/are much loved pets. My dogs are combinations of Australian, New Zealand, European & American lines, but not necessarily all lines in all dogs. All my dogs are hip/elbow scored, eye & heart cleared and have DNA testing done for ichthyosis & eye problems etc. before they are bred from. Pups are available occasionally for show, obedience or pet homes. All pet puppies are registered on the LIMITED REGISTER, NO EXCEPTIONS. Sometimes we may have an older retiree or a show pup that doesn't turn out looking for loving homes. ***PLEASE NOTE: I DO NOT KEEP A WAITING LIST FOR PUPPIES.*** I have been a member of both The Golden Retriever Club of NSW & The Golden Retriever Club of Victoria for over thirty years. I have been a registered breeder for over 20 years. I am passionate about the golden retriever breed and breeding the healthiest and most beautifully conformed goldens for the show ring and as pets. I only use dogs that have excellent health testing and proven in the show ring for conformation and quality and temperament. I plan on showing a pup from this current litter but also enjoy the obedience and rally training which my dogs excel in. I do try to breed for the golden colour which is not a breed requirement, purely a preference as many of my puppy owners want a golden that is gold! All my dogs are genetically screened for any hereditary issues which are all clear, plus I have current eye certificates for breeding girls and I aim to breed for the lowest hip scores.
