Whiskey River Retriever puppies are raised with love on our 140-acre farm in Murwillumbah, Northern NSW. Surrounded by Highland cattle, horses, chickens, and geese, our dogs enjoy a rich, outdoor life—joining us for morning and afternoon farm chores, swimming in the creeks, and participating in weekly training. Our dogs compete in obedience, showing, retrieving, and tracking, with several pups also working successfully in therapy roles. We breed dogs who are fit, social, and trainable. In the home, they’re gentle, affectionate, and wonderful with kids and visitors—truly cherished, lifelong companions. Our puppies are raised using Puppy Culture alongside our own enrichment program to ensure they grow into confident, well-adjusted individuals. With my background in natural animal health, our focus is on breeding dogs who can enjoy long, healthy, and happy lives. Puppies are raised on a balanced raw diet, and we offer ongoing support and a comprehensive new owners program to help guide you every step of the way. All of our breeding dogs are fully health tested. This includes hip and elbow x-rays, heart and eye certifications, and DNA testing for PRA1, PRA2, and ICT-A.

At Cedar Flat Farm we love to breed and raise gorgeous and confident golden retriever puppies ready for their forever homes. I'm an ethical breeder; my dogs are our family pets, and our puppies also become part of our family life while they are here. Our puppies are raised on our 22-acre farm in Northern NSW. For the first few weeks, they are raised inside with us as part of our family. They are handled and played with by both adults and kids, and as they grow, spend many hours each day running around and exploring our large fenced front paddock with our family Golden Retrievers. We also have a large safe outside puppy pen where they can explore and play on the grass in the shade during the middle of the day, and a large inside pen which we move them into of a night. They are given many toys to play with and as they grow are exposed to many different situations and stimulates to allow them to become confident and well-balanced dogs. I have 5 Golden Retriever Breeding Dogs - 3 girls and 2 boy. I only have 2 litters per year, and keep them 6 months apart. All my breeding dogs have pedigree papers, are DNA tested, have great hip and elbow scores, and have been cleared by a cardiologist and ophthalmologist for breeding. I am a member of Dogs NSW and abide by their breeding guidelines. We love to give our puppies the best start in life, so by the time we hand them over to their forever homes, they have a sound temperament, are well-balanced, and confident puppies.
