Welcome to "Anese" Havanese. I am a small kennel who has fallen in love with this wonderful breed. My Havanese are pets first, showdogs second. They sleep in the house and the house is organised with them in mind. I do not breed often, but when I do my aim is to produce quality puppies, Dogs SA Registered of sound body and excellent temperament into loving homes for companionship and show. The best advice that I can give you is to be patient - good things come to those who wait! We are proud owners, and occasional breeders of Havanese, but only breed when we wish to create a new addition for ourselves, or add a little more sunshine to our lives. We have a bitch, who is a show Champion, and competing in Obedience, as well as being a beautiful companion. Pictured is the Bitch who is the Dam of our current litter, Pippa. She is a show Champion, and now a proud mum. When we breed, we sell our puppies on a limited register, and all will have their worming and first vaccination, and microchipping completed. I am a small hobby breeder/exhibitor of Havanese dogs. I am not a Kennel, and all my dogs live in my home and are part of a loving and playful Havanese dog family. I love to play and socialize them from the minute they are born until they go to their forever homes. Havanese are known for their charisma, charm and sometimes silliness – often known as clown or circus dogs with their behavior. Havanese excel at therapy, obedience and agility and more importantly make the most loving companion. Often known as the Havanese Silk Dog or Rainbow dog your Havanese will need daily maintenance to keep his coat long and silky and he may change colour as he grows. All my puppies are ANKC registered and come with health guarantees. The whole litter is constantly under evaluation as they grow for temperament, conformation and health. Around 7 weeks of age puppies are temperament tested and evaluated for conformation using the ANKC Breed Standard for the Havanese here in Australia. Please keep in mind that the Havanese is not the breed for everyone so please ask as many questions you can of your breeder. There are no perfect dogs, and ALL dogs have faults. My ultimate goal is to produce puppies that closely adhere to the ANKC Havanese Breed Standard therefore ensuring that they all will be a wonderful representation of the breed. By 7 to 8 weeks, I am better able to offer you a description of each puppy’s temperament and personality so I can assist you in finding the perfect match.

Havanese came into our lives purely by chance nearly 10 years ago while showing another breed, and one wiggly cuddle later they were in our hearts. It took a few more years to bring one home, and another few years to decide to start breeding these darling creatures ourselves, but once you've loved and been loved by a Hav there really is no stopping it!
