Montiverdi Kennels was established in the early 1990s with Italian Spinoni and English Springer Spaniels. We have reduced the size of our dogs, but not their personality! Generally we breed one litter of Italian Greyhounds per year. We prefer solid coloured dogs of Continental type; our breeding dogs come from Eltazzi lines and imported European stock. We produce healthy, robust puppies, reflective of their purpose as small hunting dogs. We want dogs with good conformation and correct movement, able to excel in activities such as endurance and lure coursing, as well as having careers in the show ring. They should have excellent temperaments and make loving companions. Puppies are raised in our house and, when old enough, explore our acreage and meet other people and dogs. Sonia Brown of Casadirosso (SA) and Ashleigh Divola of Kosmos (NT) are my mentors and I am very grateful for their help and 24/7/365 support.
