Welcome to Karelea Australian & Miniature American Shepherds. We are nestled between the mountains and the sea on the beautiful South Coast of NSW, and have had Aussies in our lives since 2008, and now welcome the Miniature American Shepherd to our family. We have been breeding Australian Shepherds since 2020 and will now be incorporating Miniature American Shepherds into our future plans. We show our dogs in conformation, and have titled past dogs in both Conformation, Obedience and Rally O. Our Aussies live as inside/outside dogs and are very much a part of our family. We aim to breed health tested, well bred Aussies & MAS that not only adhere to their respective breed standards, but have the brains and temperament required to suit all lifestyles. Our puppies are registered with Dogs NSW (ANKC). Microchipped, Vaccinated and wormed before they leave for their new homes.

Our import MAS Alpha and Beta has arrived in Australia 2024 . They will be our only breeding pair of this breed . Both of them are DNA tested , from champion bloodline in United States, well socialized and trained . All our pups will get early socialization and we will give advice for each family to get the best match puppy . I've been breeding these little guys for almost 20 years. I started out in Canada and then 8 years ago I brought dogs into Australia. The first time I saw one was at a horse show in Oklahoma 2003 - I couldn't believe my eyes. So compact and clever, versatile and fun. They are the best little dog for everything. In almost every pickup truck at a rodeo in Canada/US one of these dogs is riding console. Family pet - check, agility - check, scent work, swimming, herding, cuddling, Netflix-watching - check, check, check. They're the ultimate companion and they love the whole family. You can train them so easily and well. Just the best. And that's what my customers say when they come back after a year or two for their 2nd dog. "These are the best little dogs," is all I hear, and I love hearing it. My beautiful, genetically-clear dogs are all here on the farm. I have imports and homegrown. Some are natural bobtails, some have tails. I breed for temperament, structure, health & overall breed improvement. Dogs and puppies spend their days swimming in dams, socialising & growing. My pups are sold pedigreed, registered, vaccinated, health checked, micro-chipped, tick & flea treated, wormed and ready for action. They have a puppy pack with things that smell like litter-mates, food and a toy. They're pretty much toilet trained for grass, newspaper and puppy pads. Questions or to register interest call me.
