On occasion I will cross size to a small to get variations in size- small mediums being the biggest. ,The smaller Peruvians in my opinion are better than the large as they are more endearing ,more animated, more captivating and more loving.They are also more possessive ! lol They are more addictive therefore giving you the space to have more! lol All the necessary health checks and DNA profiling is undertaken to ensure healthy stock from the beginning Only pet homes will be considered-I find a lot of show homes don’t have the best attitudes towards their dogs and their only focus is a ribbon -not their actual happiness. Peruvian hairless dogs are an ancient breed and are comparable to the whippet but have the added bonus of guard dog qualities and of course the unique physical characteristics associated with hairlessness. These striking and sleek silhouettes are a new sight hound breed in Australia and small,medium and large lines are now emerging based on connections with leading international breeders from Europe and the USA. We are breeders in Queensland, who have limited litters. We breed, when we're looking for a new puppy ourselves. Peruvians are only a new breed to us (our boy first came to us in 2019), but we have been part of the dog world most of our lives and have held the 'Pauchel' prefix since 2000. We love their temperament and that they want to be where you are and a part of everything we do. We pride ourselves, that our dogs are multitasking. They show, but they also play in other dog sports. We train for tracking, lure coursing, the new sprintdog, scent work, different levels of obedience agility, working pack dog and endurance trials, but we let them show us, what they're interested in. Our dogs are raised in a family environment and can be seen draped around our house on the couches and in front of the fire, outside they have acreage to run around in. All puppies leave us, wormed, vaccinated with at least their 1st vaccination, fully DNA and registered with DogsQld. Raised in a family environment, with other animals and lots of love.
