Owner/breeder of rare solid-coloured Pointers based on the bitches ZUHRAAN DARK N DREAMY (solid liver bitch "Kayo") and ZUHRAAN AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER (solid black bitch "Ebony" - deceased). We imported in 2018 the baby puppy Sgurr Dare to Dream at Zuhraan (aka "Ruby"), a solid orange bitch from Ebony's daughter at Sgurr Kennels (NZ) - Breilla Across The Universe to Sgurr ("Nyx"), having lost Ebony unexpectedly & without a retained daughter. Ruby is the dam of my current show & breeding bitch CH. ZUHRAAN BLACK VELVET (solid black "Dolly"), who just had her first litter in early September 2025 - 11 puppies, parti & solid colours.

I have been showing and breeding Pointers for over 20 years, my small team of Pointers are all part of the family and home reared. I am from the Uk originally and returned here several years ago and bought my English bitches with me. The Grandson of my oldest English bitch gained his Australian Championship in 2015, amongst his showing career he has won BIS at the Bundaberg' Easter Extravaganza. Now semi retired he is available for stud to approved bitches. I have prided myself on the gentle and wonderful temperament that are bred within my Pointers, which is paramount. All my dogs are DNA tested which is now a requirement as a Dogs Qld member. Any enquiries are welcome.

TYPE - QUALITY - STYLE - TEMPERAMENT Arista was founded in NZ with Rose & Russell Leech in the late 60’s where over 100 ARISTA Pointer Champions were titled. Arista Pointers then moved to Australia 2002 to continue our part in being custodians of this special breed. In 1988 I was introduced to an Arista Pointer and since that day Pointers have always been part of my life. In the late 90’s I was officially made a partner in the ARISTA prefix and Rose & Russell Leech have since retired. To this day they still keep an eye on the breed and often discuss the breeding programme. You will find the Pointers of ARISTA behind a lot of today's Pointers here and abroad. Panoply was established in the UK in 1996 with my two foundation males: UK Sh Ch Ferndel Fabian from Panoply and his litter brother Ferndel Lucky Strike at Panoply who along with my foundation bitch, Kiswahili Star of Africa via Panoply began the Panoply Pointer Kennels. I emigrated to Australia in 2013 and brought five dogs with me who all link back to the Crookrise and Wyndsmoor lines. All were very successful in the UK with numerous wins at Championship Show Level; Best of Breeds, Group wins, Best in Show wins, Best Puppy of Breed, Best Puppy in Group and Best Puppy in Show at Open Show and Pointer Club Show level. The dogs are all 'Fit for Purpose' and enjoy a life galloping in the paddocks, resting in the kennels or being sofa companions enjoying a cuddle. I am fortunate enough to judge this beautiful breed in the UK, and return to the UK about every two years to judge and improve and maintain my knowledge for judging and breeding Pointers. To date since emigrating to Australia Panoply Pointers are proud to have made up twelve Champions and one Supreme Champion here in Australia. New puppies hoped for June 2024.
