Shetland Sheepdogs have been a lifetime breed for me ( 50 years this year ) they are ever alluring and so loyal to their owners . With limited showing over the years I am very proud to have bred 19 Champions , plus 3 Dual Australian and New Zealand Champion's with one achieving ROMA status ( Register Of Merit Australia ) whom has sired 19 Champions in Australia and New Zealand . Charmhill Shelties are a mix of Australian , European and UK bloodlines , adhering to our ANKC Breed Standard which is based on the UK Breed Standard , which includes the Shetland Islands , the Country of Origin . My aim is to produce Shelties with sweet expression that melts you , that is the true Sheltie breed type , along with outgoing temperment , well constructed movement plus overall balance and outline . My puppies are Eye Tested , Microchipped , Vaccinated , Wormed and Vet checked . All my Shelties are DNA tested to ensure I am breeding and producing the best I can . All Shelties I retain here till adulthood are Hip scored upon Maturity . Puppies are raised in the home and well socialised with grandchildren . Limbunya is a small kennel , having had shelties for nearly 40 years , competing at Obedience level first before the Conformation ring took my interest . Some highlights are my two home bred Obedience Champions , plus 4 Conformation Champions , plus several other Shelties I have obtained to compliment my gene pool have also been titled in conformation . I am also very proud of International Champion Limbunya Orion who achieved much success in Europe and his progeny breeds on in those countries as well as in Australia . My Breeding programme include the best of Australian and UK bloodlines . My aim is to breed Shelties of correct English type with that lovely sweet expression with overall balance , temperment plus movement being my priority. My Puppies are from parents that have been show dogs at some stage in their lives that have been DNA tested , Eye Tested with an Ophthamologist and Hip Scored . Puppies are Eye Tested , Microchipped , Vet checked , Wormed , Socialised with my grandchildren and Vaccinated before going to their new home's at 8 week's . I’m passionate about dogs, obedience training and canine nutrition, continually learning and increasing my knowledge. My shelties are much loved & treasured members of our family. We have an occasional litter. Our puppies are raised inside and socialised with their doggy Aunts, Uncle, Cousins, Grandmother and their human pack as well I use Puppy Culture protocols to raise our pups, always hoping for 1 to keep that I can continue with training.I believe the first 12 weeks of a pups life is incredibly important. My pups are handled constantly and given problem solving skills to help give them confidence. The pups doggy family are NEVER removed from them. They are loved and taught right from wrong throughout that 9 weeks we have them. All the members of my pack have a role to play in raising the puppies. Holly mothers them...sometimes she starts to lactate and helps feed the pups even if they are not hers, especially her daughter Bonnies pups. It is wonderful to see mother and grandmother both in the whelping box nursing the pups together...this is nature at its best! Phoebe loves to play, rarely does she discipline All our dogs are fed a real raw food diet & our pups are weaned onto raw fermented food as well; by doing so, establishing their permanent gut microbiome for their future health and immune system Our pups r loved & treated like family The worst part is letting the pups go to their new families The trick is finding the best possible families for our preci

I have been involved in Shelties all my life, having grown up with the breed. We aim to breed, own and show Shelties that are both beautiful and intelligent, and thus breed for type, temperament, health and soundness. Importantly, we aim to breed Shelties that are easy to live with. Our Shelties are health tested, and puppies are raised in a loving home environment. We breed occasionally.
