Charmhill Shelties are a mix of Australian , European and UK bloodlines , adhering to our ANKC Breed Standard which is based on the UK Breed Standard , which includes the Shetland Islands , the Country of Origin . My aim is to produce Shelties with sweet expression that melts you , that is the true Sheltie breed type , along with outgoing temperment , well constructed movement plus overall balance and outline . My puppies are Eye Tested , Microchipped , Vaccinated , Wormed and Vet checked . All my Shelties are DNA tested to ensure I am breeding and producing the best I can . All Shelties I retain here till adulthood are Hip scored upon Maturity . Puppies are raised in the home and well socialised with grandchildren . I am also very proud of International Champion Limbunya Orion who achieved much success in Europe and his progeny breeds on in those countries as well as in Australia . Although only a relatively small kennel Goldview Kennels were well on the way in 2005 when my first owned and bred sheltie "Goldview Taylamade" gained her title. I am proud to say that since then I have bred and shown several dogs through to their Championship titles, including Ch Goldview Bachelor Boy, Ch Goldview Satin N Lace who are from the same litter. Also Ch Goldview Hyland Cruiser, Ch Anscot Sandpiper and Ch Goldview On The Move .I only breed when I want a pup for myself and I get much pleasure in seeing my puppies go go to their new homes knowing they will be loved and true members of their new family. Being on a rural property my dogs get plenty of running exercise which gives them strength and agility which is so important in a working breed. I only breed to the correct UK standard and aim at all times to breed Shelties that are not only beautiful, but dogs that are sound and active as befitting a true working breed.

I’m passionate about dogs, obedience training and canine nutrition, continually learning and increasing my knowledge. My shelties are much loved & treasured members of our family. We have an occasional litter. Our puppies are raised inside and socialised with their doggy Aunts, Uncle, Cousins, Grandmother and their human pack as well I use Puppy Culture protocols to raise our pups, always hoping for 1 to keep that I can continue with training.I believe the first 12 weeks of a pups life is incredibly important. My pups are handled constantly and given problem solving skills to help give them confidence. The pups doggy family are NEVER removed from them. They are loved and taught right from wrong throughout that 9 weeks we have them. All the members of my pack have a role to play in raising the puppies. Holly mothers them...sometimes she starts to lactate and helps feed the pups even if they are not hers, especially her daughter Bonnies pups. It is wonderful to see mother and grandmother both in the whelping box nursing the pups together...this is nature at its best! Phoebe loves to play, rarely does she discipline All our dogs are fed a real raw food diet & our pups are weaned onto raw fermented food as well; by doing so, establishing their permanent gut microbiome for their future health and immune system Our pups r loved & treated like family The worst part is letting the pups go to their new families The trick is finding the best possible families for our preci

Temperament is number one for us without compromising quality. Our puppies are from parents with good conformation and pedigrees. We are on acreage so puppies also get lots of exposure to the on goings of outdoors as well as being raised with our other shelties as a pack family. A sheltie is a working breed and they absolutely love having a job to do here which could be anything from coming for a run while we feed the ponies, rounding the kids up on their bikes or sneaking into their bedrooms for a cuddle at bed time. The sheltie really is such a wonderful versatile breed. We have received a lot of feedback from new owners on how well handled and socialised our puppies are which is always lovely to hear. We usually have a couple of litters per year and we welcome enquiries. No international enquiries please as we don't send our pups overseas.

I compete with my dogs in agility, rally, obedience and tricks, so I love shelties that have that drive and pizazz that makes training lots of fun. I fell in love with the breed's sweet, fairy-like elegance mixed with athleticism, and so that is what I look for in my breeding choices. I have had one litter so far with the help of my husband with our beautiful Elkie. We are new to breeding but I have mentors who are supporting me in my breeding goals. We have owned bred, worked and showed dogs for over 33 years our main breed being Alaskan Malamutes. We have owned Shetland Sheepdogs for the past 13 years and absolutely adore them. With limited showing and breeding, under my first prefix, Pinedel, I have bred and been successful showing and trialling my Shelties. After a break of over 13 years, in 2019, I returned to the wonderful world of the Shetland Sheepdog and I have recommenced showing and breeding this truly delightful breed. I established my new prefix RIVIERASHEL. In 2021, I was very privileged to purchase LOUANDA DOUBLE DELITE "" BARBIE "" from Karen and Sue Lishman. In 2021, Louanda Whispers In The Sand, "WHISPER" came into my life. I mated Whisper to the stunning A.Ch. Marruce The Illusionist which resulted in the arrival of my beautiful bitch RIVIERASHEL ELLE. In 2023, I repeated the mating and, my stunning young dog, RIVIERASHEL MAGIC BREW was born. I am forever grateful to my dear friends, Sue and Karen Lishman and Chris Sydenham for their friendship, support and guidance. All of my puppies are lovingly and carefully raised in my home with my family, all household noises and are very well socialised and have travelled in my car from six weeks old. My Shelties and my puppies are DNA tested for any heritable diseases, full health check by my Vet, eyes tested by a qualified Opthalmologist, vaccinated, wormed regularly and microchipped. Heidi is a beautiful shaded sable and white and has gained her CCD title. Lacey is a gorgeous tricolour and white and has gained her Novice Tricks title. They both have now started Rally training which they love and have so much fun. They both have great potential for lots more fun loving achievements. Heidi is just over 2 years and Lacey is almost 2 years. I will have the very occasional litter. It is of high priority to consider temperament and excellence type in any litters that I breed. My two Shelties are bred from well known quality breeding lines of which I would like to maintain. Shelties are a beautiful,intelligent and smart breed that love to learn and please you. They can't get enough of you and love being with you where ever you are and being included as part of your family
