I pride myself on having a show team of White Swiss Shepherd Dogs of absolutely outstanding sound temperaments, friendly to all & used often by children in Junior Handlers competitions. Eishund is also Co-Home of the Swedish import's SUPREME CH. Vallgardens Ghostly Gladiator (Thor) & CH. Vallgardens Glitzy Glamour (Inga)!! They are both multi class in show, class in group winners & Thor a multi BEST IN SHOW, BIG & RUBIG winner! Thor is the first Grand & Supreme champion & the first BEST IN SHOW winner of the breed in Australia to date. Prior to breeding, all dogs are hip & elbow x-rayed with outstanding results, DNA profiled & tested for MDR-1 & DM. I don't believe in breeding purely for glamour, so I breed both coat lengths, long & short. Puppies are available from time to time (keep an eye on my website for any upcoming plans), and to suit all disciplines, be it show, pet or a working home, I'll endeavour to assist in selecting the best suited pup for a families needs. We are a small establishment on the ACT/NSW border. I have a passion for this breed since its inception, having previously owned White Shepherds and German Shepherd Dogs. It was shortly after the official recognition of the White Swiss Shepherd Dog that I commenced searching for my perfect foundation bitch and eventually imported our beloved Feeling Good du Bois des Ternes (Fanni) from Belgium in early 2011. From this start my love for this breed has soared. My family and I are fortunate to have approximately 10 acres for our dogs to enjoy. They have grown up with my children and are much loved family members. We have also been very fortunate with the temperament of our dogs and I strongly believe that good temperament is pivotal to successful breeding. My aim is to contribute to breed enhancement by focusing on priorities of temperament, health and conformation. I imported a stunning male JCH CR White Dream Glorious Lord of Roses (Hector) in late 2016 who has far exceeded all my expectations and enabled the planning and safe arrival of our second litter on 8 March this year (2018). Established in 2010 on our imported FCI White Swiss Shepherd Dogs, all of whom were carefully selected to establish our own lines of quality dogs here in Australia. Saffioraire White Swiss Shepherd Dogs is located in the NSW town of Cootamundra. Situated on land and surrounded by a lovely community, our puppies are raised in a well rounded environment, setting them up for life. Our dogs have excelled in the show ring including Best In Show, Best In Group, International Ch, Aust Ch, wins across Breed, Group and Show level. However first and foremost our dogs are loved family companions. Living with us inside our family home, we thoroughly enjoy the company of our dogs and enjoy a variety of activities together with them. All of our dogs are tested for relevant breed diseases and we have also imported semen from select European males who have passed all health tests. We have owned and loved White Swiss Shepherd Dogs since 2013 when we purchased our beautiful non-ANKC pup Esmeralda. She ignited our passion for the breed, their beauty and intelligence. After many years, and a few ups and downs, we finally started our journey in breeding WSSDs in 2022. Our focus is improving conformation and health of the breed, whilst maintaining a confident and affectionate temperament. We believe in quality over quantity, carefully matching our females to males with the right structure to compliment them, ensuring exceptional puppies. We believe this has served us well as buyers recognize the quality we are producing. Our dogs are hip & elbow xrayed, ACES eye examinations, full profile DNA tested for genetic health traits such as MDR1, Degeneration Myleopathy, Cerebellar Hypoplasia and Pituitary Dwarfism. "Kavic", as we call him, is an exemplary representation of the breed, possessing an incredible temperament and has many notable dogs in his lineage including tripple world winner Ataka IZ Beloy Brigady and Mig IZ Beloy Brigady. We are members of Dogs NSW, and all our dogs are clear for DM and MDR1 and have excellent hip and elbow scores .
