New: Puppy Applications Upgrades and My Owners List

We’ve been listening to your feedback on how to make managing enquiries and puppy applications on Dogz Online easier and more streamlined.

That’s why we’ve just released a few new updates around the puppy applications tool, as well as a new My Owners List.

In these areas you'll be able to:

  1. Get more flexibility when customising your puppy questionnaires
  2. Score your puppy applicants from 1-10, and also add any notes
  3. Organise your puppy applications into categories
  4. Keep all your puppy owner records in one simple, accessible place

Everything in one place. No more scattered notes. No more chasing information.

Below, we'll go through each key improvement:

1. More flexibility when customising your Puppy Questionnaire

We know the original puppy application had some limitations. Based on your feedback, we’ve introduced new improvements to give you greater flexibility and control over how you screen applicants.

You can now:

  • Choose from different question types, including Multiple Choice, Checkboxes, and Open Text
  • Set questions as Mandatory or Optional
  • Rearrange, edit, or delete questions to suit your needs

This gives you more control over the information you collect, so you can screen for what matters most to you and your breeding program.

2. Rate applicants based on suitability, and attach personal notes

Managing multiple applicants at once can quickly become overwhelming, especially when you don’t currently have a litter on the ground and want to revisit applications later.

To make this easier, we’ve introduced new tools that allow you to:

  • Rate and Score puppy applicants from 1–10, based on your own assessment and suitability criteria

  • Add private notes to applications, including preferences, observations, or anything important to their application

All scores and notes remain completely private and are never shared with the applicant. You can update scores and notes at any time.

3. Sort Puppy Applications Into Three New Categories, Plus Archive Old Ones

For breeders managing multiple enquiries and applications at once, staying organised is essential. We’ve introduced new tools to make sorting and managing applications on Dogz Online simpler and more efficient.

You can now:

  • Categorise applicants as Favourites or Unlikely
  • Move and update multiple applications at once, including approving several applicants at once
  • Send bulk messages when approving or declining applications
  • Use the new Archived folder to store applications that are no longer relevant

These updates help you stay organised, save time, and manage your applicants with greater clarity, especially during busy periods.

Note: sorting and cateogirsing applicants will not notify the buyer. You can still approve and decline applicants as normal, which will still notify the buyer.

4. The My Owners List

The My Owners list gives you a simple, organised way to keep all your puppy buyer information in one accessible place.

Here’s what you can do:

  • Add owners to your list, directly from your Puppy Applications on Dogz Online, or manually add them and complete their details yourself

  • Record important information, including contact details, puppy details, litter IDs, private notes, and more

  • Keep track of all your owners in one dashboard, making record keeping easier and helping you stay organised and compliant

Everything in one place. Clear. Accessible. Built for breeders.

We hope you enjoy the new features, and we look forward to hearing everyone's feedback.
