I have bred and/or owned over 50 Champions of various breeds in Australia and New Zealand, but have now down-sized and only have Cavaliers. Over the years, my dogs have won numerous BIG/RUBIG awards, as well as Multi In-Show awards at Specialty and All-Breeds Shows under All-Breeds and Specialty Judges. My Cavaliers have FULL PROFILE DNA testing (includes CC/DE/EFS/DM/CM) ... and have regular heart assessments. Health and longevity is the proof in the pudding ... and until recently, we had 4 Cavaliers between 10-13 years old running around the back-yard (all home-bred). I breed all four colours, and I have puppies available occasionally. My Cavalier boys are sometimes available to approved (health tested) bitches. * * * PLEASE NOTE: I do NOT recommend breeders who don't do Health Testing ... in-particular Hearts and Eyes in Spaniel breeds. We are a small in home breeder with all babies born and lovingly raised inside as part of our family. We pride ourselves on their socialisation to give you the happiest puppy possible. We do a full panel of DNA tests on all our breeding adults, with annual cardiologist and ACES certificates. Before leaving us, puppies start toilet and puppy door training. We breed for health, temperament, companionship and quality. Expecting tri coloured and Blenheim babies soon Puppies will be vaccinated x 1, wormed fortnightly, parasite treated, microchipped and vet health checked (with report). At Ecocav, I breed to produce pups with 3 key criteria: First, I breed to improve the DNA tested health of our dogs. I usually DNA test every one of my puppies. I also select for health issues that are not DNA testable, where they become identified in my breeding stock. Second, I breed for temperament, so that the puppies will be family friendly pets, and that they should learn to get along with all other companion animals. Thirdly, I breed for showring type and conformation. The Cavaliers I breed are selected for good conformation and to be true-to-type. While I can't make every single puppy grow to the correct size, I only retain breeding dogs that best conform to the breed standard.
