Our breeding dogs are DNA health tested for breed specific hereditary diseases including Curly Coat/Dry Eye and Episodic Falling as well as specialist eye tested, echo cardiogram specialist heart tested and patella checked. Our dogs live as part of our family, in our home and enjoy the same luxuries as we do! We do not have a continuous supply of puppies as we selectively breed our dogs and only for when we would like to enhance our own dog show line. Therefore, puppies are sometimes available. We also do not sell to people that all work full time as we believe a Cavalier is happiest around its family and get very lonely if left alone all day. Our puppies are always microchipped, vaccinated, vet checked and registered on the Dogs Tasmania Limited Register Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels Aust Ch. We compete in conformation shows and aim to produce quality Cavaliers who are excellent representatives of the breed and who are healthy, well adjusted and temperamentally sound. We compete successfully in All Breeds and Specialty shows, both locally and interstate. We breed Cavaliers for temperament, good health and for the betterment of the breed. We have carefully chosen dogs for the foundation of Blacklash with healthy bloodlines. Our breeding dogs hold clearances by Veterinary Specialists for hereditary heart and eye diseases and hold certificates for DNA testing of Episodic Falling (EF) and Curly Coat/Dry Eye (CC/DE). Our dogs are tested for clear hearts annually by a Veterinary Cardiologist. Our dogs are also tested and cleared for Patella Luxation prior to breeding. Making informed decisions from health test results enables us to adapt our breeding programme and to reduce the risk of these diseases appearing in future generations. We raise our puppies and live with our adult dogs in our home and they are an important part of our family life. Our puppies are raised to be confident and well adjusted, whether they are destined for a show or performance career or as a companion in a pet home. We raise, train and socialise our puppies with the world renowned Puppy Culture protocols. We are very proud ambassadors and partners in this programme.
