Small showing and breeding kennel established in 2000 though I have owned Cavaliers since 1985, we are situated in the ACT. Stud and Puppies are sometimes available with approval, all puppies are reared in the home as members of the family. All our Cavaliers are Heart screened by Cardiologist Vet , Are eye screened by Ophthalmologist vet and we also test DNA for Curly Coat/Dry Eye Syndrome and Episodic Falling (CC/DE & EF), We also now test for Degenerative myelopathy (DM), Congenital macrothrombocytopenia (CKCS type) (CM), Myxomatous mitral valve disease (MMVD), Medium-chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency (MCADD) All puppies are vaccinated, micro-chipped, wormed and registered with the Dogs ACT All puppies will go home with a puppy pack. Puppies available on Limit and occasionally Main papers. Candalan is a small show and breeding kennel located in Canberra, specializing in black & tan and ruby Cavaliers. Our dogs are much loved family members and we invest a lot of time and energy into our dogs and puppies, We aim for soundness, correct size and type and well-adjusted, confident dogs with happy outgoing temperaments. They enjoy a variety of activities, such as daily walks, obedience work at trial level, and agility. Our dogs are heart- and DNA tested for Episodic Falling, Curly Coat Dry Eye, and Degenerative Myelopathy. Occasionally, we have puppies available to loving, responsible pet homes. All puppies not kept for showing are sold on Limited Registration with a desexing contract. The puppies will go to their new families vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and Vet checked.
